Sharpened Chitin Armor (5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Armor (any non-metal non-heavy armor), common Fashioned out of the carcasses of likely tens of slaughterflies, this suit of armor is both durable and very sharp. While certainly not a pretty thing, it does provide good utility, leaving yourself always armed. This utility and relative inexpensive nature makes it popular with several thri-manipulus clans, easily outfitting the physically weaker subraces with superior armor. Sharp. You are essentially wearing knives. When you make an unarmed attack, you can instead deal 1d4 Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage(your choice). |
