Shadow Archer (3.5e Prestige Class)
From D&D Wiki
First of all, I must give credit to Neuneck, who created the original Hidden Archer Prestige Class. I found that his class needed some serious toning down, and balancing, along with a few flavor issues, so I decided to create this class based on his original work, so that I didn't butcher his hard work.

Becoming a Shadow Archer
The Guild of Shadow Archers are widely spread all through Faerun. Their specialty is to meld and strike the enemy swiftly from the shadows before vanishing from sight. The pursuit of becoming a Shadow Archer often occurs when stealth and subtlety are necessary elements of one's life. They are separate from assassins, as they refuse to give in to such base desires and the evil ways that those desires breed. Rogues and Scouts are most likely to become Shadow Archers, because they are two of the few classes that provide the precision damage that is required. Other classes have become Shadow Archers, but it is difficult to meet the requirements without multi-classing. The most important stat is Dexterity, for not only their attacks rely on it, but as well as most of their skills. Intelligence and Strength are important as well, where Intelligence grants more skill points, and Strength, if wielding a composite bow, will add damage to your hits.

Below are the Shadow Archer's Class Features. Note, they are only usable with a bow.
Sneak Attack/Skirmish: As the Rogue or Scout class feature, respectively.
Sniping (Ex): The Shadow Archer has the ability to step from the shadows, make an attack, and then step back into the shadow without being noticed. While performing this action, the Shadow Archer gets a bonus to her hide checks equal to her level. In addition, the Shadow Archer can make ranged sneak attacks from within the range of 60 feet. This increases to the max range of the bow (not going into the second range increment or above), at 5th level.
Hide in Plain Sight (Su): A Shadow Archer can use the hide skill even while being observed. As long as she is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, a Shadow Archer can hide herself from view, in the open, without anything to actually hide behind. She, cannot however, hide in her own shadow.
Arrow of Shadows (Sp): The Shadow Archer learns to mold shadow into an invisible arrow for a short time. The Shadow Archer can create an arrow as a free action. The damage from the arrow is dealt as if a sneak attack has occured, even if a sneak attack wouldn't be possible. However, creatures that are immune to sneak attacks (such as constructs, undead, ect.) are also immune to the effects of an Arrow of Shadows. Nevertheless, these creatures are still considered flat-footed, though only normal damage is applied. The Arrow of Shadows has to be used within the next round, otherwise the arrow becomes unstable and fades into nothing. The Shadow Archer can use his own shadow to form one. For each level of Shadow Archer he can create one Arrow of Shadows per day. (1 at 1st level, 2 at 2nd level, 3 at 3rd level, ect.)
Shadow Jump (Su): At 4th level, a Shadow Archer gains the ability to travel between shadows as if by means of a Dimension Door spell. The magical transport must begin and end in an area of shadowy illumination. A Shadow Archer can jump up to a total of 200 feet each day in this way; this may be a single jump of 200 feet or two jumps of 100 feet each, or some other combination (with increments of 10 feet minimum). Every two levels higher than 4th, the distance a Shadow Archer can jump each day increases by 50 feet (for 250 feet at level 6, 300 feet at level 8, and 350 feet at level 10).
Phasing Arrow (Sp): The Shadow Archer now can mold an arrow that only partially exists on the Material Plane.
The Shadow Archer can launch a Phasing Arrow as a standard action once per day. The arrow will pass every non-magical barrier, thus negating bonuses from cover, concealment and even from armors and shields. A normal attack roll is necessary. For each 5 levels of Shadow Archer he can create one phasing arrow per day (so 1 on lvl 5 and 2 on lvl 10).
