Physical Description[edit]

you are a magic blade eons old, forged by the gods

History[edit]

Sentient blades are forged by powerful entities to possess vessels to do their bidding.

Society[edit]

sentient blades are drawn to their own kind to battle for superiority

<Race Name> Names[edit]

sentient blades do not have genders but will often express a gender of their choice sentient blades ussually have lengthy titles that reflect their stature(zangathor the great flame blade)

<Race Name> Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your int score increases by 2 and your str score increases by 1. these stats are added onto that of your host.
Age. sentient blades are ancient and ageless
Alignment. dependent on that of your creator
Size. dependent on that of your vessel
Speed. while you do not have a vessel, your walking speed is 0 ft.
telepathy. you may communicate with creatures mentally within 30ft.
possession. any creature that grabs your grip(handle) must make a wisdom save(DC dependent on stats). if they fail, they become your slave until they release the blade.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
