Gnome[edit]

Throughout the ages of Alfheim, gnomes have been looked down upon and considered less for their racial kindness(sorta like hufflepuff). Well, no more, for the race of gnomes will come to the light again!

Physical Description[edit]

Gnomes are the largest of the nine races, and are built with dense muscle and/or fat, or are just skinny. They have naturally darker skin, and brown hair, along with facial markings. They are often 8-16 feet and .5-2 tons on average.

History[edit]

The gnomes weren’t always a peaceful race, and once ruled the known eastern world with an iron fist. They were the greatest conquerors of their time, with the largest empire to date. But, nothing lasts forever. Soon, bands of orc renegades chipped away at the empire for thousands of years. When the empire was shattered, every last gnome was forced into the north, and have made a home for themselves. And soon after that, they let go of their dominating ways, and became peaceful, gaining a pastime in mining and gardening.

Society[edit]

Their society is very reclusive to the world, and no one (except the gnomes) know where it is located. Strangely enough, their capital, Nissengrof, not only imports metal and ores, but also agriculture. No one knows how, since the mountains are very desolate and barren of nutrients for the soil. And classified information for gnomes only, there are several outlying villages from the capital, and the capital is underground, a true spectacle to behold. But that is all I am allowed to say. They are on good foot with all races, EXCEPT for orcs, since they are the ones that imprisoned them years ago. They share the religion of the trinity, or so they call it. They are comprised of opimus, god of life and bliss; colos, goddess of alchemy and wealth; and verum, goddess of earth and athleticism.
