River Siren[edit]

A man walks to the lake next to town ready to end himself he returns an hour later saying how the spirits of the lake guided him to a new path

Physical Description[edit]

River Siren's have the standard body of a human except their body is covered in small smooth scales of bright reds and blues, their tail ends with a feather like fin and small fins and horns on their head. The color of the scales change based off gender females with red and males with blue

History[edit]

It is not know why River Siren's split off for normal Siren's it is believed that a small group of Siren's forced in land and had to adapt or they ended up in the Fae wilds for hundreds of years and some how returned but regardless of what happened they don't attack people without reason anymore

Society[edit]

River Siren's live at the bottom of deep lakes within small villages the elder it is a female based society as males as 1/6 River Siren's are male. They prefer to stay away from humans to avoid conflict regardless females wear flashy clothing to show off they also grow food for the village Meanwhile males while hunt and train to protect the village

River Siren Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. River Siren's have fairly long lifespan. maturing around 30 and can live up to 550 years naturally
Alignment. River Siren's lean towards Neutral Good from having to deal with humans far more than normal Siren's
Size. River Siren's when standing on their tail they end up just around 5 feet tall. and sender builds Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet, and you have a swim speed of 50 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Amphibious.. You can breathe both air and water.
River's Song. you have proficiency in the Performance skill, because of your beautiful voice. As an action you can start singing a soothing song you can choose up to 3 creatures withing 30 feet you the target creature's must make a wisdom save or charmed the charm last until you stop singing or until you or your allies do anything hostile to the target. While the creature is charmed you can magically speak to them without anyone else being able to hear you by changing the way there mind hears the song. if the creature If a target succeeds on it's saving throw its unaware you tried to charm it. Creatures aggressive towards you are immune to this ability the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. once you use this ability the target creature is immune to it for 24 hours. Once you've used this ability you can't use it again until you've had a short of long rest
River's Magic. You know the shape water cantrip, Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, and Primordial (Aquan).
