Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: The mechanics and wording of this needs improving, for example probably should be "When an attack made against a creature within 30 feet of you would reduce it to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to have that attack made against you instead." or somesuch; and the way creatures move around can be better defined.

You can help D&D Wiki by finishing and/or adding flavor to this page. When the flavor has been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand the idea behind this page please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

Ring, uncommon (requires attunement)

This ring allows you to intercept an attack that would otherwise reduce a creature to 0 hit points as a reaction. You may only intercept the attack if the creature is within 30 feet of you. If the attack against the creature is a ranged attack, you magically move directly in front of the target to block the hit. If the attack is a melee attack, you appear in front of the target, moving the target to the closest unoccupied space within 10 feet. The intercepted attack goes against your AC as opposed to the target's.

Once the ring is used, it cannot be used again until the next dawn.
