Reverse Transmutation (3.5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
|Components:||V, S, Special Component|
|Target:||1 object previously subject to a transmutation spell|
|Saving Throw:||Will (harmless)|
|Spell Resistance:||No (provided failed spell did not grant sentience)|
This spell is used primarily to reverse out of combat mistakes. It reverses the effects of any given transmutation spell upon casting, as long as the user is high enough level to cast this spell. If a spell transmutes water to fire, this spell reverses the effects, and would turn it back to water.
Special Component: You must also be able to cast the transmutation spell the object was affected by, and pay the material and XP costs for it as well.
Note to DM: This spell is a safeguard for more difficult transmutations, and as such should rarely be used in combat.
