Qwaser[edit]

The Qwasers are the one's capable of controlling a specific element through the power of the blessing of a Maria's soma. An alchemist who possesses the power to manipulate electrons, molecular vibrations and atomic bonding. They are the descendants of Hermes Trismegistus. Qwasers traditionally work with or for the churches seeing as their powers are partially derived from the divine.

Making a Qwaser[edit]

A Qwaser uses their vast ubtellect to outwit foes and put them at the greatest possible disadvantage all while manipulating their specific element and achieving a perfect balance between the sciences and the arcane. A Qwaser must have access to Soma and their element or their abilities are quite useless.

Abilities: Intelligence is the most important ability for a Qwaser as it governs over many of their abilities and skills as well as helps boost their armor class and damage capabilities. Dexterity is also worth investing in because it further raises their armor class and initiative Constitution would be important as well because it determines how much soma a Qwaser can stockpile.

Races: Any race with the drive for knowledge can become a Qwaser.

Starting Gold: 1d4×10 gp.

Alignment: Traditionally Lawful

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Qwaser.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Qwasers are proficient with all simple weapons. Further, they are proficient with any weapon they create with their powers.

Qwasers are not proficient with any armor or shields

When wearing armor, using a shield, or carrying a medium or heavy load, Qwasers lost their speed bonus.

Choose Element: A Qwaser must choose one element from the Periodic Table of Elements to gain mastery over.

Consume Soma: Qwasers have the ability to draw Soma from any female. The act of drawing soma puts the target female in a state of Ecstasy only further encouraging them to give soma. It takes one Full-Round Actions to draw 50 soma from a willing target and one Full-Round Actions and a successful grapple check to draw 25 soma from an unwilling target. All soma over the Qwasers soma pool degrades at a rate of 1 per round.

Soma Pool: A Qwaser can indefinitely retain an amount of soma equal to their Constitution score + their soma pool bonus. This soma does not regenerate on its own if used and if they ever run out of soma they fall unconscious.

Elemental Manipulation 1: At this level a Qwaser can shift the state (Solid, Liquid, Gas) of their chosen element at will, however they must make physical contact with the element.

Elemental Manipulation 2: Qwasers can now heat up their element with molecular vibrations and can wield their element without physical contact up to 10 ft + Int modifier.

Elemental Manipulation 3: A Qwaser can manipulate the density of their element and increase or decrease the hardness by their Int modifier. Also they can now facilitate the creation of compounds containing their element however they can not manipulate the compound. They can now wield their element up to 20 ft + Int modifier.

Elemental Manipulation 4: They can now control compounds containing their element with touch only. Can wield element up to 30 ft + Int modifier.

Elemental Manipulation 5: Qwasers can now break apart the bonds forming between their element and others to acquire the pure form of their element and can now control it up to 40 ft + Int modifier.

Superior Intellect: A Qwaser may add their Int modifier to their armor class, as well as, to their ability to hit.

Bonus Feat: At every level divisible by 4 the Qwaser gains a bonus feat that can be chosen from the Metamagic feat list or fighter bonus feats list.

Maria: A Qwaser is paired with a partner known as a Maria who is responsible for providing the Qwaser with soma. A Maria can be assigned to them via an organization they work for or they can simply choose one whether they are willing or not. This ability acts as Leadership for the purpose of qualifying for other feats.

Divine Rejuvenation: The Qwaser now has the ability to spend soma points to heal their wounds.

Improved Soma Retention: The Qwaser has learned how to manage the consumed soma so that it only degrades at a rate of 1 every 5 rounds.

Greater Soma Retention: The Qwaser has further improved their ability to retain soma and it now degrades at a rate of 1 per minute.
