Creating a[edit]

Quick Build You can make an Opportunist quickly by following these suggestions. First, Dexterity should be your highest ability score, followed by either WIsdom, Charisma, or Intelligence, choosing which of these three is bess depends on which archetype you choose. Second, choose the <!-background name-> background. Third, choose <!-elaborate on equipment choices->

As an Opportunist you gain the following features

Hit Points Hit Die 1d8 per Opportunist Level Hit Points at 1st Level 1d8(or 5) + your Constitution modifier. Hit Points at higher levels 1d8 (or 5) + your Constitution modifier per Opportunist Level.

Armour: Light Armour, Shields Weapons: all bows and crossbows, any one handed finesse weapon Tools: thieves tools, poisoner kit, herbalist kit Saving throws: Dexterity and Constitution Skills: Choose 2 from stealth, sleight of hand, investigation, history, medicine, perception, deception, and persuasion

Equipment You start with the following items in addition to what your background gives you. |item1a= (a) a hand crossbow with 20 bolts or (b) a short bow with 20 arrows |item1b= (a) a Rapier and a shield or (b) 2 short swords |item1c= (a) leather armour or (b) half plate armour |item2a= (a) explorer's pack, (b) burglar's pack, or (c) diplomat's pack If starting with wealth you have 25 gold pieces in addition to anything given you by your background

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
