Nju'Jsaka (3.5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
This rare Weapon, only forged once a decade by the sinister Zshuul monks of the Dambrath Deep-Shadow Temple. The Zshuul monks are awarded these fine instruments of death when they are elevated to Deathly Calm. Once given to a Deathly Calm, the blade is bound to his soul, effectively anchoring him to this realm. The ritual that binds the Zshuul monk's soul to the weapon grants extraordinary abilities that allow him to utilize his senses through the weapon, making it an extention of his own body. The weapon may not be freed from the Zshuul monk unless he is deprived of three or more of his natural senses or is killed.
The Nuuth'jsil consists of two cruel looking short swords attached at either end of a 8ft spiked chain with a fist-sized sphere creating a central linkage. The swords attached at the ends of the Nuuth'jsil have a 1.5ft crescent edge, similar to a Falchion with jagged teeth. This weapon may be separated at the center allowing for the single weapon to become two. This weapon is Prized by Drow because of its similarity to the Spiked Chain.
