Mutarm (5e Race)

A smaller humanoid race with the ability to transform into a hulking aberration.
A small humanoid that looks like a gnome with blue green skin. It has a more monstrous form that is very large and intimidating.
A mysterious race that came from a different plane of existence. Mutarm claim to have come from the Underdark, but some other mutarm claim to be from a much worse dimension, they tell tales of terrible attacks on their race. This has lead to them needing to rebuild their homes, this is around the time that they gained their ability to grow into a large load-bearing aberration, this was given to them by a mutarm chemist in an experiment. The mutarm eventually evolved with this ability that was originally meant to be for the re-construction of their homes.
The mutarm are a race that value hard work and dedication and will make good friends with others with the same work ethic, they get along with dwarves for this reason. The mutarm have their culture based around building cities and villages because it's mostly all they know, but they are generally friendly and curious creatures in the new realm.
Mutarm are a non-gendered race and can reproduce without a partner. However, they can still have sex with others of their and different species.

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 2.
Age. Mutarms typically mature around the ages 14-15, and can live up to about 140 years old.
Alignment. Mutarm are mostly good people that are willing to help most peoples, and heavily lean towards good alignments.
Size. Mutarm are small and average about 3-4 feet tall. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Transform. As a bonus action, you can transform from your smaller form into a Large sized Aberrant form for 10 minutes. When you transform, you gain temporary hit points equal to your level, and your unarmed strikes instead deal 1d8 slashing damage. You regain use of this trait after you finish a short or long rest.
Abberant. Your creature type is considered to be both humanoid and aberration.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak Common and Infernal.
