Mountain Lord (5e Quest)

<- The sun shines bright above you as you walk up the path to the lively town of Lagey. You can hear music playing and singing and everyone seems in a merry mood. The town was originally settled by a group of Vikings and Barbarians called the Red Shield. Over the decades it had grown to be one of the nation's biggest cities. Only topped by Axlarhagi, which is its capital. Lagey is 5 miles from the edge of Gerq Woodland, Gugror’s(the nation’s) largest forest. Surrounding Gugror are Wefryae(to the south) and Ustyae(to the north). Both nations are settled by Dwarves. The King of Gugror is Egil Bardsson of Mogilsa the Mighty. He is well known for his generousness among his people and his reign has had a very good impact on the economy. As you walk your way into town you see a fight break out in the front of the tavern. It appears to be two men, one tall, carrying a short sword, and the other smaller, with a quarterstaff. A circle forms around the two men as they begin to swing their weapons. (perception check, 14 d20 or higher to make it). ->

Step or Location

This is a transcript of everything to be awarded the players, and the conditions attached to those rewards, at the end of the adventure. Think of it as a sort of checklist to make sure everything was covered.

The minimum total award for each character participating in this adventure is X experience points.

The characters receive the following treasure, divided up amongst the party. Characters should attempt to divide treasure evenly whenever possible. Gold piece values listed for sellable gear are calculated at their selling price, not their purchase price.
Consumable magic items should be divided up however the group sees fit. If more than one character is interested in a specific consumable magic item, the DM can determine who gets it randomly should the group be unable to decide.
Permanent magic items are divided up according to a system. See the sidebar if the adventure awards permanent magic items.
