Moon Fae[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

History[edit]

An old race descended from the Moon Faeries of the plane of Faerie, originally thought to have left their plane to help the moon deities and act by their direction. Stories spread for many generations by oral tradition that the magic of the Moon Faeries were split in two. Creating the Papiya and Actiya Moon Fae. Though the Moon Fae have since advanced in their ability to record history and traditions, their reason for leaving the Plane of Faerie is unknown to them. They believe their original form on the Faerie plane is a combination of Papiya and Actiya, strong in knowledge and magic, but mighty in strength and wit. Though they have attempted to rejoin as the true Moon Faeries of yore, children always become one or the other, never a combination.

Despite the failure in becoming one, the Papiya and Actiya find that living without the other is quite hard. Towns of the Moon Fae always comprise of both, but wanderlust Moon fae is known to happen, but most tend to return home after having their fill of adventure.

Society[edit]

To outsiders of the mountain they reside upon, other races tend to find they have to stay up at night to catch this Race active as they tend to be Nocturnal, gaining their power through the Moon. Though they can roam the day, they find this to be restrictive and bothersome, wishing other races would join them in the night. They see those with fey ancestry as family, regardless of being mixed with non fey races. This includes the acceptance of Half Moon fae children, a wingless version of their own race that they tend to take pity on, treating them like they are fragile and incomplete.
