Mimic Slime (5e Race)

A suspicious ooze passes off as a humanoid, thanks to their innate disguise.
A Strange Black Ooze slushes around the corridor until it sees something it takes interest in. Immediately it begins to morph itself according to its learning its ways and algorithms.
Mimic Slimes upon birth only want to blend in as the people around them, because of this they are incredible at deceiving their fellow allies. Often their names are something common of natives to the region they're living in to blend in better.
Mimic Slime Traits
A black slime-like creature that mimics those around it.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Charisma score increases by 1
Age. A Slime has a lifespan of up to 1000 years as they grow older their mimications are more precise.
Alignment. Due to these creatures often posing as a different race or person they are more chaotic aligned.
Size. You Size is small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet.
Shapechanger. As an action you take 1 minute to change your physical form. You can alter your appearance, height, sex, voice, and size (Up to medium.) You do not gain any statistics from this new form aside from a possible size increase. You stay in the new form until you use the same ability to revert back to revert to your true form or until you die.
Studier of Surroundings. Because you learn to look at your environment you can copy one trait from a race you have studied for 24 hours. You must be concentrated throughout this entire study and you can only have one trait copied at a time with your current copied trait being lost if you gain a new one.
Adequate Survivor. You do not require to eat, sleep, or breathe while in your true form however you must eat an equivalent amount of times to a human while transformed. Your hunger doesn't fade even if you transform back into a slime.
Languages. You can speak, read and write in Common.
