In the dark forests there is a legend of giants hiding in the dark center. The bard continues into the forest until she sees a massive humanoid shape in the distance "hey" the bard shouts. The figure turns around only to meow in a deep voice. Once a famous race for their magic and their curiosity, this proud race now hides from the world in shame after one of their kind tried to dominate the world with his fire magic.

Physical Description[edit]

The Meowtain is a hybrid race of of Catfolk and Dragonborn. These rare creatures that can either resemble cats with paws, tails, and fur or humanoid wingless dragons with tails and scales. Their fur and scales can be all colors but the eyes resemble dragons eyes which match the color of dragon they are descendent from. The average height of a Meowtain is between 5"-6'5" and weigh around 300lbs.

Meowtains are descendants of Catfolk and Dragonborn from centuries ago. The Dragonborn had kept Catfolk slaves as pets and household maids until the prince of the Dragonborn banned slavery and to apologize to the Catfolk married a maid and made it a tradition to do so in his clan, which created the Meowtains. The race was given their name by Lorewalkers who found drawings and writings of buff catlike people. They have been hero's and villan's on both sides of many wars because of their unique heritage and staggering Magic aptitude. Many Meowtians are adept at all things relating to spells and magical artifacts and are well known collectors of rare yarns and precious treasures. After the evil Mittens flameborn tried to take over the world, the Meowtains have moved into he dark forests to live their lives in peace in hopes to be accepted again as a friendly race.

Much like a human city's all sorts of stores and businesses can be found in each clan and tribe no matter the size. their is a town elder and a guard captain that run the city to keep everything in order. Magic learning towers exist all in each clan to help spread their magic heritage from generation to generation. Once a year the Meowtains hold a Yarn ceremony where the set fire to a big ball of yarn to call any dragons in the area and exchange information and knowledge.
