Mainling[edit]

It's up to us to protect the forrest, do our best, and return to our homeland.

Physical Description[edit]

Mainlings are fierce creatures. They have a small section of tree bark around their hearts ( type of tree varies on bloodline ) with a wolf like head. Mainling have fur as skin. A Mainlings teeth can bite through leather and leave small bite marks behind. Most Mainlings are 4'6" tall, but Mainlets are 3'6" tall. Yellow eyes are the most common color for Mainlings and Mainlets, but some are brown or shades of blue. The spots they do not have fur ( or tree bark ) is their hands. Most Mainlings have brown or blue eyes.

History[edit]

For the longest time Mainlings and Mainlets had stayed in the forests of their homeland, but their gods Damaus and Wygarn came to the conclusion that the land was soon come to a end. To stop this Damaus and Wygarn telported as many Mainlings and Mainlets to safety. Now every 20 years, their gods pick a total of six Mainlings to become heroes of the forest. All Mainling and Mainlest remember the many left behind, praying someday they can return to their homeland. Little is remembered of how Mainelings came to be, Most to the recordings of the eary Mainling history has burnt up or damaged to the point it is imposable to read. The records that have survived mention an huge exposon that not only calsed massave damage but also creating the Mainling gods.

Society[edit]

Mainling beleve in most of the Mainlong gods; Wygarn (NG): the god of light and life, Damaus (LE): the god of darkness and death, Monton (N): the god of the land, water, and air, Ritchtorn (LN): god of learning and animals, and Packron (CN): the god of time, and hunting. Mainling and Mainlets live in small towns and love nature. But they tend to argue who is the best Mainling god among them selves. Luckily they often stop before a fight brakes out. But when it does happen, things gets bloody fast. It is also belived that Wygarn was the first Mainling god, but none of the Mainlings will know due to most of the first recordings of the Mainling gods existence have been destroyed in a wildfire. Mainlings and Mainlets live together peacefully, however a Mainling won't be very happy if considered as a Mainlet and the other way around. And all Mainlings and Mainlets will take any insult going to their homeland as an insult to themselves.

Heroes of the Forest[edit]

Mainlings and Mainlets came form a "Pine tree place" (hint on how I came up with the name of the race), so naturally they knew a lot about trees. After what happened to their homeland, twenty of them are chosen to protect the forests of their new home land. They protect both the forests and whats left of the portal to their original homeland.

Some notes on Mainlings and Mainlets[edit]

Mainlings and Mainlets hate wildfires in the woods, and will often try to put out the wildfire.
