Lesser Turpis (3.5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
The result of a union between a Human and one of the Turpis-Kin, the Lesser Turpis are even less popular than their Turpis-Kin sire. Usually killed at birth by either their mother or father, but on occasion are simply abandoned in infancy. Lesser Turpis spend most of their early life discovering who they are. They can be called the ultimate-orphans. Lesser Turpis are mostly nomads, wandering from city to city until their race is somehow discovered. Normally this results in death or exile, due to the mistaken assumption that a Turpis-Kin, and their like, are in fact doppelgangers.
Socially guarded and forever wearing a ‘mask’ over their true thoughts, emotions and intentions.
Average height for this mixed blood is 5’9”. They look a lot like full blooded Turpis-Kin, but with stringy hair and bungling deep blue veins all over their body.
Like Turpis-Kin they keep up appearances with other races, more to hide their identity than anything else. Needless to say they have trust issues.
The Lesser Turpis have no lands
The Lesser Turpis often cling to religion and have no racial preference.
