The Monster of the Hidden Mist, the Tailless Tailed Beast, Samehada's Wielder. These are only a few names for the beast known as Kisame Hoshigaki. Originally the treasured student of Samehada's previous wielder in the Village Hidden in the Mist, he would later join the Akastuki when approached by Tobi, who revealed that his master was selling information to other villages. Becoming the new wielder of the most feared of the Seven Shinobi Swords, he betrayed his village and allied himself with the shadowy organization. While saying that he loves his job is an understatement, he also understands when to back off.
