  1. The SRD only gives a means to determine costs and weights of weapons for Large and Small versions based on the Medium weapons. Any other supplied values are the author's best determination.

Extremely expensive because it is primarily made from mithril. You could decrease the price by changing the metal, but then it loses most of it's advantages. It has a small Osmium bulb at the bottom of the hilt to add weight to lower the weapons center of balance so not all the weight is in the head of the weapon. By doing this, it marks a place to grip the hilt and throw it in a balanced way like a javelin. It can pierce most armor because of the weight, but takes extremely high proficiency to use and only some one trained to use it can throw it more then 15 ft. By being proficient you also gain use of the unique balance and can use it similar to a staff yet it still has the qualities to be a useful double bladed ax as well. The javelin is achieved by having a spearhead come out the top middle of the ax head. The handle itself is made from mithril to increase durability.
