<Race Name> Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, your Dexterity score increases by 1, and your Strength decreases by 1.
Age. You are technically immortal and show no traits of age.
Alignment. Neutral
Size. Small to Medium
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Swim Speed is 30 feet. Due to your slime nature you also have a Climbing Speed of 30 feet and can stick to any hard surface, including ceilings.
BlindSight. A humanoid Slime retains the Blindsight of their primitive slime form and cannot see past the 60 feet range with Blindsight, however while changed into a form that possesses eyes, you gain the visual capabilities of that form so long as you remain in that form.
Slime Nature. As a Humanoid slime you don't need to breath or sleep, and have resistance to gas attacks and immunity to acid damage and exhaustion. Once per day you need to revert to your slime form for at least an hour or you suffer a -2 penalty to your Dexterity and Constitution which can only be reversed by spending an hour in your slime form. While in your slime form you gain additional immunities to the following conditions: Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, Frightened, and Prone.
slime form. You can use an action to change your into your slimy form. In this form, you cannot use your hands, hold or carry items, or interact with objects. You can fit into a space 1 inch wide without squeezing, and your unarmed attacks deal an additional 1d6 acid damage. Any attempts to grapple you in this form also deals 1d6 acid damage and anyone you successfully grapple while in this form takes 1d6 acid damage per turn that they remain grappled. Returning back to humanoid form requires you to concentrate for 10 minutes without interruption. If your concentration is interrupted during this time you remain in slime form and must start over.
predator. Devour a killed enemy and roll a D20. On passing dc15 + the CR or Level of the creature or character, gain a random skill/attack from the enemy corpse. Roll another dice to determine which. No Spellcasting abilities can be obtained with this ability. You may only hold on to 4 abilities or traits at a time. When receiving a new trait you may pick which retained trait you wish to forget or you can forgo taking on the new trait and heal for 1d4 points instead. Additionally once an object or creature has been consumed by you, you can use your Slime Mimicry to change into an exact replica of the object, creature, or person consumed so long as it is Small or Medium in size. You may only use this skill a number of times per day equal to your Constitution modifier.
slime mimicry. As an action, you can change your appearance and your voice to match that of an object, creature, or race of the small to medium size. You perfectly take on the physical looks of the object consumed, including your coloration, hair length, and sex. You can also adjust your height and weight, but changes in size can only be small to medium or medium to small. You can make yourself appear as a member of another race, though none of your game statistics change unless you have consumed the body of a creature of that race, which then only gives you their statistics relating to sight. You can’t duplicate the appearance of a creature you’ve never consumed nor can you speak a language you have never learned. Your clothing and equipment aren’t changed by this trait.
perfect appearance. While in the form of a creature or object that it has consumed, your are nearly indistinguishable from the original and any checks made to determine the truth fail automatically if the person or creature making the check has never seen the original form before. If they are very familiar with the original form the checks are made with advantage but only disclose that you are an impostor, not that you are a slime.
pseudopod. As an action you can create slime like tendrils that protrude from your body to attack a number of creatures within range equal to your Dexterity modifier. This attack has a reach of 5 feet and deals 1d6 acid damage + your Dexterity modifier. This acid damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6). You can use this feature a number of times per day equal to your Dexterity modifier.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Primordial.
