Holy Elf[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Holy Elves are near identical to their non-holy counterparts, except that the eyes are always blue, they are much shorter, and the hair will never be any dark than a light shade of brown. They also have slight ridges to their ears, at the base of the ear. The picture is nearly a perfect explanation of holy elves, except that their hair can't be green, and this would be a child of age 8.

Holy elves, unlike normal elves, have been blessed by a Goddess (whose name was lost) eons ago. They were gifted with intelligence of various religions of the many Gods of the worlds. Using this knowledge, they began creating places of worship all over their homes. This is where the divide between normal and holy elves came in, as holy elves began to drive out non-believers. Today, Holy Elves are accepting of all religions, except for one, Holy Elves are extremely opposed to atheism. Holy elves will actively draw from their limitless supply of Gods and proof of them to get them into at least one.

Holy elves are constantly worshiping their Gods, and often spend 5 hours of the day doing so. Everyone is accepting in Holy Elf society, because despite their opposing loyalties, there is a unanimous acknowledgement that all known Gods and Goddesses exist. Most will avoid conflict unless their Deity calls for arms, but this is rare.

Holy Elf Names[edit]

Holy Elf Traits[edit]

They're like elves, but holy and better ears.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence increases by 2, and your Charisma or Dexterity increases by 2
Age. You age slower than regular elves, and mature extremely faster. You mature at the age of 12 due to the quick insertion of religion in your life, and the average life expectancy is 900 years.
Alignment. Most, if not all Holy Elves retain the alignment of the God/Goddess they follow.
Size. Your size is medium. Males are usually Around 5'8 and females are usually 5'4
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Always Religiously inclined. You have proficiency in Religion
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being Charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Trance. Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After Resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Execellent Vision. Holy Elves don't gain darkvision, but they still gain the effects of their elven ancestry in the form of excellent vision. Your vision cannot be obscured in anyway that is not a solid object at least 3 inches thick.
Languages. You can speak Common, Elvish, and Celestial.
