Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: A half black dragon is a template and monster in the monster manual, to avoid confusion as their abilities are vastly different I recommend renaming the race to something else. In addition, why black dragons in particular is confusing, surely you could of kept to the Half_Dragon_Variant_(5e_Race) page you created?

“My people. Sons and daughters of Darconic Blood.... For many years, we have been hunted... Shunned, oppressed, and conquered by those we sought to escape. ...Asking for time? That time can only be granted by yourself. You, the strength in your arms, the holders of your dreams.... Our noble blood embarked on the greatest exodus in the history of this world... An exodus for freedom. The Draconic blood in your veins is key for that freedom. The noble blood running through your veins can change your bodies. At first, it weakened us, as some hunted our kind for fun but in fact, we were growing... stronger.

This much, you should know... The history of these days will be written in blood... By crushing the armies of our enemy, by seizing the weapons they thought to turn against us, we were fighting for our very existence! But if there those who would deny us peace, refuse our rightful place in the universe and this world, then, we will unleash such terrible vengeance, that generations yet unborn will cry out in anguish! The enemy may shatter our bodies, but they cannot break our spirit... Even now, they advance on our kin, to seize by force, what they cannot claim by right... They cannot imagine what awaits them.... Our kind will SMITE the invaders from our skies! Though they sweep over our lands like the sands of winter, never again you shall be prey for them... Never again endure their oppression... Never again endure their righteous fanatic believes... We will strike without warning, and without mercy, fighting as one hand, one heart, one soul... We will shatter their dreams, and haunt their nightmares... Drenching our ancestor's graves with their blood! And as our last breath tears at their lungs... as we rise... they will know, the future...belongs...to us.”

Physical Description[edit]

The Draconic Blood in your veins, is for the most part dormant, which was a blessing so far, since that made it easy for you to blend in with mankind, while you are a little bit taller and broader then the common Human or Elf, it is not something that would reveal your draconic heritage, maybe minor things like the Iris of your eyes show some signs of that origin, but for the most part, it is not visible for people around you, what you truly are, a Dragon would, none the less, sense a thing like this and know.

As offspring of a black dragon and human or elf, you are not the strongest halfbreed of your kin at all, like for example, a halfbreed of a red dragon would be, none the less, Black Dragons are known to be smart negotiators and manipulators. Use your Strength if necessary, but wits and knowledge to manipulate those around or to get what you want, is mostly a Black Dragons first choice. In some cultures, half-dragons have been seen as creatures blessed by the gods, while in others they’re treated as abominations of natural law. Because of this, they may be surprised by the positive or negative attitude towards them when entering a new town.

Throughout history, half-dragons become trusted sages sought far and wide for their extensive knowledge, while others may become vicious mercenaries feared throughout the countryside. Though many become wanderers searching for many different things, most often their draconic parent, an adventuring life comes as the next logical step to finding what they're looking for.
