<Race Name> Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age. Genies do not age naturally, but they often take on an ageless appearance. Some genies happen to look younger or older than others when they are created.
Alignment. Genies vary in alignment across the spectrum, from lawful Dao prospectors to scheming Marid, plotting the downfall of those working above them. They are often chaotic, due to their imprisoned nature.
Size. Genies vary in size, with the shortest ones being less than 4'5", and the largest reaching upwards of 7 feet. Your size is medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Wishgiver. Once a year on one day of remarkable significance to the Genie, chosen beforehand, they can cast the wish spell once, without knowing the spell, expending a spell slot or material components. They can only cast this wish spell to grant the wish of another creature, with the following conditions: The creature cannot get more wishes through the casting of this spell, the creature cannot wish for someone's life to be ended, and the creature cannot wish to influence true love.

The Genie can always cast wish this way, even if they can't cast it through other means. A creature can only receive one wish from the genie within its lifetime.
Imprisoned. Genies are often imprisoned in a specific, arcane way. See the "A Genie's Prison" section.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Primordial.
