Dragon's Rebirth (4e Paragon Path)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search
Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Break their Stride: What is "special" about the standard action? Encounter powers should not cause ongoing conditions. Sigil's Defense: How long does the zone last for? Till the end of the encounter, or through a sustain?

You can help D&D Wiki by better balancing the mechanics of this page. When the mechanics have been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand balance please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

Dragon's Rebirth[edit]

I am the dragon reborn! You will quiver under the force of my onslaught!

Prerequisite: Dragoon

Though many of your powers still come from the Shadowfell your reverence for dragons has given you greater insight and power to dragonkind. Your draconic legacy wells up inside you and your sigil becomes more a part of you then it ever has been before. The necrotic powers that you have indulged in so far are burned away with your new found conviction, to be replaced by the powers of your draconic patron.

Dragon's Rebirth Path Features[edit]

Shining Sigil (11th Level): You can apply a sigil of your type to both your weapon and armor, though your amount of charges remains the same, also the time for one ritual to be completed is reduced to half; also whenever you activate your sigil on your armor your bonus to AC is increased to +3.
Renewed Reverence (11th Level): Though you have long made your home in the Shadowfell your respect for dragons and dragonkind has never faltered. You leave behind your heritage of the shadow and take back up the mantle of the dragons. Any power that has the necrotic keyword and does necrotic damage is changed to the damage type of your sigil and does one die size more damage.
Living Sigil (16th Level): When a sigil is applied to your armor you gain twice the normal resistance to your selected power type and normal resistance to the opposite power source.
