I know this isnt really what this site is about but... what do you do whith a bad DM?[edit]

I have, for several months now, been playing in a new group as, sadly, I had to move away from my old one. However, given... circumstances... I am limited in my choices, and the choices are to play under this DM, or not at all. I have done everything in my power to try and make him see why the group (because it isnt just me) dislikes his style of DMing, but he wont see reason. There are plans to replace him, but we're aways off from that... any suggestions in the mean?
