"Dies Iræ" which means "The Day of Wrath" in Latin, is an exotic Zweihänder whose length ranges up to 180 cm with a total weight of 2 - 3.2 kg. The Blade is a Double-edged, straight blade made of Aurorum which allows it to restore itself if sundered, while the Edges on either side of the blade is layered in a thickened coating of sharpened Kaorti; the weapon's critical becomes X4 when used for slashing or piercing weapons and makes it an Exotic Weapon.

Along the Fuller (Often called the blood groove or gutter), the narrow groove that runs down the length of swords, is the engraved phrase "Solvet Saeclum In Favilla", whose etched in letters mean means "All the world into ashes turning" and have been filled with Pearlsteel which reduces the penalties of using a weapon underwater.

The Tip, the end of the sword furthest away from the hilt, is tapered to appear like a bolt while being layered in a thick coating of Hizagkuur metal that grants +1d6 electricity and fire damage.

The Guard, the metal piece that keeps an opponent's sword from sliding down over the hilt and cutting your hand, is also made from a thick cutout of solid Aurorum though being designed as barbed prongs that are make it impossible for opponents to grapple the weapon without taking +3d6 damage first.

The Hilt, the handle of the sword, (a hilt is usually made from leather, wire or wood and is fastened to the tang of the blade to provide a comfortable way to hold the sword) is made of solid Aurorum wrapped in red Rust Monster's Hide, making the weapon immune to corrosion.

The Pommel is end of the sword that the hilt is on. Pommels are normally larger than the hilt and keep the sword from sliding out of the hand, as well as providing a bit of counterweight to the blade. They also can be used as a means to secure the hilt to the tang, and were sometimes forged out of the same length of steel as the rest of the blade. The Pommel is made of solid Aurorum set with a large singular Grandidierite stone that carries the soft sound of a storm brewing on the horizon. When around the presence of water, if the wielder of this weapon utters the phrase "Kyrie Eleison" ("Lord, have mercy"), it will create a thunderstorm in the area with a 50% chance to spawn Water Elementals

The Sheath:

A curved Serbian-styled scabbard of ornate design.

The Sheath or Scabbard, is normally made from leather or wood made to holster the weapon of choice, though typically a blade. This particular sheath is made from a hollowed out elephant's tusk that was soaked in a treatment liquid comprised of Ember Root and Djin Blossom. The treatment cleans the tusk with a finished reddish glow that grants true Fire Immunity (even from lava and magma) while strapped to the wielder, as well as, a +4 bonus to all Charisma-based checks and +4 bonus to all Fortitude saves vs poisons and gas-based effects. The Tusk is wrapped in intricately woven Livewood grown from the World Tree itself that houses a Dryad with the Celestial Template as they were born from the World Tree itself.
