Controller (Incompelete)

You an engineer who use drone and robots to fight

Controller

You starting want to be a artificer, but you are interested in making variety machinery and decided to make magical drones and droids by with a device on your hand. As you learn more things, you able to make mechs, explosives and much more. You hope is to make everyone have a good life and become a famous Controller than any controller before.(first time making a class hope u enjoy)

Creating a Controller


Quick Build

You can make a Controller quickly by following these suggestions. First, Intelligence should be your highest ability score, followed by Wisdom. Second, choose the Izzet Engineer background. Third, choose Tinker tools , any artisan tools and 10gp

Class Features

As a Controller you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 2d4 per Controller level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 2d4 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 2d4 (or 5) + Constitution modifier per Controller level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: light armor and medium armor
Weapons: none
Tools: Tinkers tools and any 2 artisan tools of your choice
Saving Throws: Intelligence
Skills: Investigation and any 2 Wisdom skills of your choice

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • (a) An explorer's pack or (b) A scholar's pack

Starting level 1,you have the knowledge to make robots to support or fight with your friends in battle.

Appearance

Made out of Thick Metal strips and Wood planks

Types
The humanoid

you make a 4feet tall ,human alike robot .this robot have all score of +2. Your robot and hit an enemy with 1d4 damage. it speed is 25ft and climb 10ft .it have Ac 12 and hitpoint of 10+ Int Modifier

The drone

you make a 1ft tall , hovering drone . this robot have all score of +2 and Dex with +3. It can attack .It have a flying speed of 40ft and able to hover up to 5ft .It have Ac of 15 and hitpoint of 4

Actions

You use your own action to make a robot do action. Actions include :

Creating a robot

You can make one when it's free time and not during combat . it cost you 10gp to make one . You regain 2d4 gp from scraping the destroyed robot you found.

Repairing and Changing

You can repair(healing) a robot with 1gp for 4 hitpoints . You change it Types by using 2gp.

Carrying

Robots can carry any weight below 5lb without any requirement. But if is more than 5lbs, It must peform a Str Check or else it can't carry it.It can't carry anything more than 25lbs

Command

Your robot can be control by a device, on command or Thru Mind Wave. You must decide it method to command at the start.

device

It can be control within 50 feet with range. You only can control one device at a time

Command

It control by your voice. As long as he heard you and nothing is blocking, It can be control

Mind Wave

Control with your mind. As long as it not touch acid , it can be control

Robot Skills

Your robot able to use 4 skills from the table below:

Robot skills
skill name Description
Healing Wave Release a 5-feet radius wave that heals ally target by 1d4

(At level5 the healing increase by 2d4)

Boost Wave Release a 5-feet radius wave that increases ally target's melee damage by 1d4
Sprint brust Give an ally these buffs
  • Have advantage against Dex saving throw
  • Use dash as a bonus action

this last (Player)Wis Mod + (Player)Int Mod turns

Dizzy Spray make a smoke that reach 20 feet in front of robot .target that inhale it must do a Con saving throw of 9+ (Player)Wis Mod . If fails, everyone have advantage on hitting target
Shield Tesla release a lot of zap to allies within 15feet.Ally gain 1d4+(player)Int Mod tempory shield. This shield last for (Player)Int Mod turns.

Cowardice

Being lack of fire power, you gain the following ability at 2nd level:

  • able to use disengage as a bonus action
  • Enemies with Great weapons have disadvantage hitting you (hit roll)
  • Enemies with Bludgeoning attack have disadvantage on damage roll

Robot Limit Improvement

At 3rd level ,you now able to make 1 extra robot .You will gain this feature again at level 10th ,15th and 20th

Self-Defense

You gain proficiency with weapon below:

  • club
  • dagger
  • Sling
  • Bommerang
  • Rapier
  • Crossbow,hand

Minibots Limit Improvement

At 9th level, you can make 1 extra minibot .You will gain this feature again at level 14th and 18th

Body Guard

At 11th level , your robots that's is within you 5ft ,It have resistance against bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage.

Economic Tinkering

Now Repairing and Create a robot cost 6gp.

Salvage Master

scraping robot now gives you 4d4 gp

Engineering Improvement

 At 3rd level, you chose a Engineering Improvement. Choose between Aircraft Carrier,Scout Engineer,Golem Maker,Weapons Specialistdetailed at the end of the class description. Your choice grants you features at 3rd level and again at 7th level

Ability Score Improvement

When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Aircraft Carrier

You started study aerodynamics ,Shape of bird and Sky related to make robot to help you in battle

New Robot Types

Orbit Plane

You make a plane that Size of 2 of your palms and fly an path around you. You can command it to land on your hands to stop making loud noise and fly around Monster you choose . Plane robot have a Ac of 19 and hitpoints of 2 . it have flying speed of 30. It continuously move(can use move as bonus action)

Rotor drone

You make an improve version of drone . Rotor drone have a Ac of 15 and hitpoints of 4 . it can flying up to 60ft and have and flying speed of 60 feet

New Robot skills

By choosing Aircraft carrier , Robot Types In this Subclass with give you a new Action to them

Aircraft Carrier's new skill
skill name Description
Mage bullet Launches a Magic Bullet target must perform a Dex sav throw of 12.If fails, deal 1d6 damage. Can shoot up to 100ft

Minibots Support

At 5th level, you learn to make small robot that carries big effect. You learn a mini robot blueprints:

Air Mine

You make a palm size ball with a rotor on it. You throw up to 15ft . It stay at the position for (Wis Mod) turns. When any target close to it ,hit it , or The turns ends , it release a 10ft radius explosion , dealing everyone 3d6 damage.

Engineering Feature

At 7th level , your robot now +10 ft on long jump and high jump.

Golem Maker

You started learn Golems , so you can replicate it on your robots

New Robot Types

Mage Golem

You make a golem that's 5ft tall. Athought it looks like a golem, but it is a robot that's similar.

New Robot skills

By choosing Golem Maker , Robot Types In this Subclass with give you a new Action to them

Golem Maker's new skill
skill name Description
Elemental Burst unleash a 10ft straight long of either fire , lighting or ice .Target must perform a Dex saving throw of 10. If fails, deal 1d10 damage.

Minibots Support

At 5th level, you learn to make small robot that carries big effect. You learn a mini robot blueprints:

Golemmite

you make a small, heavy , palm -sized Small golem that explode if an target is near it.It continuously move 5ft for every allies and enemies turn.If a target is near it, it will explode, dealing 1d4 damage.It will also brust out rock shard that hit all target within 10ft range must do a Dex sav of (10+ Int Mod) IF fails, deals 1d4 damage.

Engineering Feature

At 7th level , your robot now increae maximun hitpoints by Int Mod.

Weapons Specialist

You make bionic gear with your robots to help your friend physically and mentally.

New Robot Types

Boost Boots

You make a pair of boots for you or you friend that have 3 charges. It fully recharge if you repair it or a day pass. You spend one charge for the effects:

  • +1o ft on the next long jump or high jump
  • Succeed a Dex sav throw
  • Kick an target . Dealing 1d4 force damage .PUsh target up to 10 ft.
Power Gauntlets

You make a pair of boots for you or you friend that have 3 charges. It fully recharge if you repair it or a day pass. You spend one charge for the effects:

  • Hit roll add up with your Int Mod
  • Poke damage increase with your Int Mod
  • Advantage against Str Sav throw.

Minibots Support

At 5th level, you learn to make small robot that carries big effect. You learn a mini robot blueprint:

Magic vaccum

You make a palm size bot that create a 100ft dead magic zone when activated for Int Mod + Wis Mod turns

Engineering Feature

At 7th level , your robot now have +(Int Mod+Wis Mod) on all simple weapons

Scout Engineer

You make robot that help scouting the place ,for information with using the ability of stealth.

New Robot Types

Land drone

You make a quiet , fast moving land drone .You can control within range of 1000ft .It has Ac of 18 and hitpoints of 1 .It have stealth check of +5 and speed of 50ft.

New Robot Skills

By choosing Scout Engineer , Robot Types In this Subclass with give you a new Action only for them

Scout Engineer's new skill
skill name Description
Evasion Robot gain the condition Invisibility , have advantage again Dex saving throw , increase movement speed by 10ft. This last for (Int Mod) turns.

Minibots Support

At 5th level, you learn to make small robot that carries big effect. You learn two mini robot blueprints:

Spy cam

You place a device that stick on anywhere isn't liquid or air .You can do A Int check. If succeed. You have the vision of it .If fails, You can't use it in 10 second and Spy cam with make a loud sound that target with range of 30ft must perform a Int check to either saw the camera or not.

Engineering Feature

At 7th level , your robot now can shoot a silent dart with hitdice of +3 and damage of 1d8 .This can shoot up to 100ft.
