this is for the massive amount of lore for example who knows what dominaria is and why is it important Bloodarbiter (talk)

Sorry man no clue. Bannanameds (talk) 20:40, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

its the center of magics multiverse one the largest planes and where after multiple planeswalkers sacrificed their sparks thus dying to close rifts that were going to destroy the multiverse changed the vary nature of planeswalker sparks from multi dimensional gods with the power to create a whole plane to mortals with the power to plane shift Bloodarbiter (talk)

So what part is this supposed to play in all of this? Bannanameds (talk) 20:51, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

simple its a story hook and we need things that manipulate planewalkers sparks mechanically besides antimagic as a spark can be stolen

How does one steal a spark? That could be a higher level ability or a mechanic like a wizards spellbook. Bannanameds (talk) 01:48, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

its not easy to steal a spark it would take a artifact level magic iteam to do so thats spacifically made to steal a spark in fact one of mtg villians memnarch created a whole machine that required an immemnse amount of power and was a massive fotress drawing the power needed from the plane itself just to be able to steal a spark but anyways magic iteams that can stop thier planer movement like any kind of antimagic zones work fine since being a planeswalker des just that allows you to planewalk as much as you want so the only reason that planewalkers are powerfull is because they have knowledge from all over the multiverse Bloodarbiter (talk)

Okay bloodarbiter how does one get a spark? Bannanameds (talk) 21:52, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

one is borne with a spark as a random natural occurrence then when you go through a very stressful occurrence it ignites planeshifting you away from harm Bloodarbiter (talk)

Can it be granted by a high god like gea? Bannanameds (talk) 23:25, 4 May 2017 (UTC)

its weird gods in dnd and magic work different so I would say it would take a godly multidimensional being as being a god usually means tying oneself to a plane Bloodarbiter (talk)

Could it be caused by looking into limbo or being tied to the otherworld or the city of doors? Bannanameds (talk) 00:12, 5 May 2017 (UTC) also how wold that first plane shift balance in the game? could that determine what your first color is? Bannanameds (talk) 00:19, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

the main thing is that planeswalking is a lot different from then going from say the prime material to the abyss its going to different prime materials but yes if somehow you were detached from existance somehow you could planes walk but it would be very erratic since you werent controlling the action

Ok Bloodarbiter. How is the planeswalking mechanic going to work? If its not your average Plane Shift than what is it? Bannanameds (talk) 14:59, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

thats the problem i dont know how to balance such a thing as being able to go to multiple prime materials you would have to leave it to the dm since at any point if a pc was going to have something negitive happen they can go somewere where nobody can follow exept for others planeswalker so you can either have a party of all planes walkers or have it be a single character party but makeing multiple prime materials is a lot of work so we need to just turn it into just reguler plane shift

also i could see planes walkers as a sorceress origin thier own class a wizard school a hi level feat or even a barbarians primal path Bloodarbiter (talk)

It could be a regular plane shift with the option to go to another prime meterial. and it could be an archetype for any class with magic. Gideon and Elspeth are Paladins, Garruk and Ajani are Barbarians, Nissa is a Druid, Liliana and Jace are Wizards, Sorin is an Eldritch Knight, and Chandra is a Sorceress. Bannanameds (talk) 15:08, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

And we could flavor it like: "You and any other creatures within 10 feet of you are teleported to another prime material plane, or another plane of existance" Bannanameds (talk) 15:14, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

IDEA!!!!!!!!!! we could have a variant rule like Simple Psychic where when you create your character you roll a d100 and on a 90-100 you have the spark of a planeswalker. then you roll a d20 and if its a 1-17 you dont know you can planeswalk, on an 18-19 you know you can, and on a 20 you know you can planeswalk, and have already planeswalked to the prime material you are on.
