Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: This race seems overpowered compared to similar first-party races and would benefit from having less powerful traits. This thing is using large size rules similar to how they are in 3.5e, which increases the damage dice for unarmed strikes (way outclassing monk here btw) and also gives it an inordinate amount of darkvision. The AC base of 16 is also frankly ridiculous. The thing that seems to be intended to "balance" these benefits is the idea that these things cannot use weapons or cast spells without normal hands. However, that only makes this seem even less like something that should be a race at all, as this is a bad race design. It has such limiting options due to the implications from its body.

Brachiosaurus description[edit]

Brachiosaurus are titanic creatures usually the smallest you can find to still be a massive 40 to 45 feet tall and 85 to 90 feet in length weighing in at an average of 70,000 to 100,000 pounds. With long tails and tiny heads but long necks that take up most of their body. They share a lot of similarities with Giraffes like their long necks and the way they eat leaves and vegetation from trees much shorter than they are with long prehensile tongues. Their arms front legs were surprisingly longer and thicker than their back legs hence why their name means. "Arm lizard".They have four toes on each foot with 3 toenails and the front one being a sharp claw -like toenail. Their nostrils were on top of their head and their mouths were about the same shape as a turtle. They eat half its size in food every day and their main source of food was a tree called a ginkgo.

Brachiosaurus History[edit]

Brachiosaurus are ancient creatures said to live about 150 million years ago during the mid Jurassic period. With the males being bigger than the females which is rare in most mammals. These hulking titans didnt have a lot of predators if any due to their sheer size and power alone. However they were not the biggest dinosaurs of their kind. Other sauropods like the Apatosaurus would grow to be about 50 to 60 feet and weigh nearly 70,000 pounds or more and that's still not the biggest of their kind. Only having a few predators such as the Allosaurus or Torvosaurus. The Brachiosaurus and other sauropods thrived. The comets wiped them all out around 65 million years ago.Strangely it was discovered that the comet made the earth colder. Before then their were multiple different species of Brachiosaurus who had no competition when it came to getting food. Other sauropods could grow to weigh a lot more and grow to be taller than the Brachiosaurus. The magically realm of D&D has brought these wonderful creatures back to life. Some have left their villages to find allies and claim back their land that was once lost. They dont believe in magic but they do believe in power and science. Brachiosaurus now wander the lands looking for their long lost homes.

Brachiosarus Society[edit]

They tend to not have a society. but they do typically travel in packs despite their size they prefer to have a lot of offspring and take good care of their young and protect them.
