Bladed Fist (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: This is presently as powerful as a rapier, the strongest finesse weapon in the SRD, but also has the light, hidden, and glove properties. If this exists in a campaign, any finesse weapon in the core rules becomes utterly obsolete.

You can help D&D Wiki by better balancing the mechanics of this page. When the mechanics have been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand balance please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

Bladed Fist

Martial Melee Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Bladed Fist 25 gp 1d8 piercing, 1d6 slashing 5 lb. Finesse, hidden, glove, light

A leather glove with blades sticking out of the knuckles and running down the forearm allowing for two types of fighting. Punching and dealing piercing damage or running the glove against something dealing slashing damage. When the weapon is concealed by clothing it can only do piercing damage, and thus gets the hidden quality. In order to use the slashing damage it must be unconcealed.

Glove. A glove weapon is worn on your hand or forearm, and you cannot be disarmed of it. You can hold objects, wield weapons, and cast spells with a hand fitted with a glove weapon, but you can only attack with the glove weapon if that hand is unoccupied.
