Battlemages Plate (5e Equipment)

Armor (Plate), Very Rare (Requires Attunement, Sorcerer or Wizard, Str of 15 or Higher)
This set of Plate armor was designed with mages in mind. It can only be worn by Sorcerers and Wizards and was built to compensate for thier martial weakness to a degree. It provides an additional +2 to AC. While Attuned to this armor, you may work with your DM to find a "Legendary Blacksmith" to upgrade this armor to +3 and it becomes Legendary. The cost to upgrade the armor is 16,000 gold. Once upgraded, the armor gains an additional Superiority die per short rest and the wearer learns an additional Maneuver.
Combat Superiority: While wearing this armor you gain three Superiority dice, which are d8's. You also learn two Maneuvers from the Battle Master Maneuvers list. A superiority die is expended when you use it. You regain all of your expended superiority dice when you finish a short or long rest. All Maneuver save DC's are based off of your classes Spell Save DC. At 10th level, your superiority dice turn into d10s. At 18th level, they turn into d12s.
A Fighters Spirit: While wearing this armor, so long as the armor still has unused Superiority dice and you are of at least 8th level, you gain the Extra Attack class feature. If you are of at least 15th level, you gain the Extra Attack(2) class feature. You lose access to these class features while the armor has no remaining Superiority dice.
