Unholy Aura. All undead within 120 ft of Azorius must succeed on a DC 30 Wisdom check or fall under Azorius’ control. Any paladin, cleric, celestial or primordial that enter or start their turn in the same 120 ft area take 3d12 necrotic damage, bypassing immunity. Azorius can decide to have the aura not affect certain beings.

Necrofication. Azorius’ original body has been replaced with incredibly powerful necrotic tissue. Any necrotic or radiant dealt to Azorius instead deals no damage and heals him for the same amount. Azorius’ body does not decompose or age, and he does not require food, sleep, water, or air.

Shielded Mind. Azorius’ memories and thoughts cannot be erased, seen, or altered in any way, and creatures may not initiate telepathic contact with Azorius.

ACTIONS

Action Name. Melee Weapon Attack: +X to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: X (1dX + X) damtype damage.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

The can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Azorius was abandoned as a child, and left in an isolated part of the woods. He was swallowed by the Shadowfell, but an adult red shadow dragon saved him. The dragon, named Razac’Tar, raised the boy and taught him the ways of magic. Azorius grew to be an excellent mage, and helped Razac’Tar conquer parts of the Shadowfell. However, the dragon came across an ancient lich, which he fought, but was killed in the process. The lich took a distraught Azorius and trained him, and Azorius did not know better. Near the end of the lich’s existence, she taught Azorius how to become a lich himself, before passing on. Azorius wandered the Shadowfell until he finally decided on what to do. He travelled to the Material Plane and found the secret cave of a red dragon wyrm. In exchange for undead servants and treasure, the wyrm agreed on becoming Azorius’ phylactery so he could become a lich. The process was done, and Azorius, now a lich, started gathering more and more power. Instead of conquering and creating his own servants, Azorius consumed the power of those he came across, and became a force of raw, unrivaled power.
