Automated Weapons[edit]
A weapon component can be fit with automatic loaders and turrets, as beloved by tinker gnomes.
Automated weapons requires only one crewmember, who must have proficiency with tinker's tools, for a whole component. However, there are the following drawbacks:
- The component costs twice as much.
- The component requires 1 Power Point to function, or 2 Power Points if it has turreted weapons.
- The component cannot be the subject of a direct weapons action.
- The component cannot be loaded or operated manually at all.
