The Ascended[edit]

“Ascending is a 50/50 chance of going through the worst thing in your entire life with almost no end goal, or being acknowledged and thanked for your loyalty.”

An Ascended is a person/thing chosen by one of the gods to either go through a trial for their right to divine power, or given these powers due to a lifetime of loyalty to said god or their teachings. For example, the god Tempus may choose for someone to gain the divine power of War due to a lifetime as a soldier.

Physical Description[edit]

There's no fixed description as to what Ascended people look like. Their races differ, from being chosen Goliaths to being chosen Halflings, to being chosen Humans to being chosen Dwarfs.

Society[edit]

Ascended never interact with people outside of their God's Divine Domain.

Ascended Names[edit]

Think names of those in mythology. For example:

Male: Sun Wukong, Ares, Hephaestus, Heracles

Female: Athena, Artemis, Venus, Amaterasu
