Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: At first glance, this looks like expensive chain shirt with Stealth disadvantage. Then it mentions an "Abyssal Corruption table". I don't know what this is.

Armor of the Undead Legion[edit]

Medium Armor
Cost Armor Class (AC) Strength Stealth Weight
75 gp 13 + Dex modifier (max 2) Disadvantage 25 lb.

A suit of black-dyed leathers worn over chain armor, a gauntlet coving the left hand, and iron kneecaps. This armor is worn by the Abyss Watchers of a far away land, who act in the dark, rooting out any sign of the Abyss, fighting a constant war with its abominations.

Many of the Undead Legion's undying legion fell to a slimy, black substance that tainted them with the Abyss's evil essence. While not innately magical, those that wear this corrupted armor gain knowledge relative to the Abyss, whispered to them by the voices of demons. However, the wearer also gains the effect of one of the options on the Abyssal Corruption table after wearing this accursed armor set for more then six days. (Keep in kind that this effect is only seen in corrupted suits of the Undead Legion's armor.)

The pointed steel helm of these warriors' attire was a sinister omen to the masses.
