Arcane Variant (3.5e Bloodline)

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Doesn't explain how mana is used to cast spells. Is Mana supposed to be Spell Points? If so that gives a lot of extra spellcasting (roughly doubling the number of spells you can cast).

Arcane[edit]

This bloodline can be gained by any race that has any known spellcasters. Specifically those whose lineage has traces of draconic, elemental, or dijin.

Mana Pool (Ex): Take Int and Wis modifiers, add together, multiply by character level or ECL (whichever applies). These points can be used to cast spells. The spell's level is how much mana it costs to cast (0th level is treated as 1st level in determining mana cost). These points recharge each day after a good night's sleep or with an uninterrupted meditation for 8 hours during the day. Whichever applies. However, these points can only be used with spells known. (So basically all spellcasting classes can use this in conjunction with their spells/day to cast more spells)

Arcane Affinity: Gain indicated bonuses on all Bluff, Diplomacy, Gather Information, Intimidate, and Perform checks made to interact with Draconic, Elemental, and/or Dijini type Races.
