Three Gold Piece (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

Unremarkable at first glance, a closer inspection reveals that this item is in fact a very poorly conceived forgery: a small golden coin in a denomination that has never been produced. The coin holds 9 charges, and regains 1d6+3 at the end of a long or short rest. When you make a spell attack, you may spend 1 or more charges to roll 1d10, add +1 to the roll for every additional charge used, and change all damage done by the spell to the corresponding type:

Roll Damage Type
1 Spell deals no damage
2 Poison
3 Slashing
4 Piercing
5 Bludgeoning
6 Fire
7 Cold
8 Necrotic
9 Radiant
10+ Force
