Physical Qualities
Farspawn have dissociative morphologies culled from the self-image of living things– from pond-life, to animals and humans. Adventuring farspawn are vaguely humanoid but may have multiple eyes, eyestalks, pseuodopods, tentacles, chitin, mandibles and other protobiology. Their flesh might resemble the stuff of the material plane, but when wounded they might bleed fluid, color, sound, or an ooze of microorganisms.

Farspawn have no discernible genders. Those that are able to reproduce might do so by asexual budding or sporing, by impregnating other living creatures, or through other incomprehensible means.

Playing a Farspawn
"The Thing" by Kelvin64, on Flickr

Creatures tainted by the Far Realm are often seen as being chaotic, or evil. The truth is that they are largely uncaring, or oblivious to the nature of life on the material plane. Adventuring farspawns are more coherent in their interactions and are able to forge relationships with sentient creatures, but are usually Unaligned.

Their strange appearance always alienates them, and often frightens communities into shunning them. Some farspawn have a strange, insidious force of personality that at its strongest can dominate groups of humanoids, with cults forming around them.

Whilst a farspawn's goals are often incomprehensible, alliances can be made where those goals coincide with those of the humanoid races.

Farspawn Characteristics: Alien, aloof, scheming, strange, tough

Names: Eg-kr, Gnegotu, Lehu, Llanyi-zho, Lol-kib, Rus-cyiarusts, U'ibolen, Ushar-lamiho, Y'haligh, Zamatthammon

Farspawn Adventurers
Three sample farspawn adventurers are described below.

Azsh Azar is a farspawn star pact warlock. It was spawned when Gulach Azar, the violet eye, squirmed into the material plane and burst into a thousand buds. All the buds transformed into aberrant monstrosities, with the exception of one that became Azsh. It remains in contact with the pseudospirit of Gulach, from whom it receives its spells.

Skorraw is a farspawn battlemind. It is the three-dimensional shadow of the sentient plane of the Squamous Garden as it intersects reality. It delights in mutating time and space with a mere thought, and quests to gain mastery over psionic energies.

De'Valf is a farspawn bard, and the son of the Lord of the Discordant Harps. He seeks to produce new, impossible harmonics and is somewhat inconsiderate about their effects on his traveling companions' sanity.
Gardevoirs
Personality
Often easy-going by nature, a Gardevoir has a very fierce sense of emotional loyalty, often guarding those they have an emotional attachment to with their life. They're quick to make friends and slow to let them go, although some acts can't be forgiven - mostly, Chaotic or Evil acts.

Physical Description
Gardevoirs average five foot three and 106.7 lbs. They have a somewhat round head, although this is mostly formed by a natural green hair. Their skin is off-white, their eyes red. The hair is green, as are the arms. They have a red horn protruding from their chests, and a similar but smaller one on their back. They have white protrusions that form a dress and are green on the base, under which lie two very thin white legs. They have a green mark around their upper torso, which dips down to the base of the horn and rises to cover the shoulder. The general form is humanoid, although they have no visible mouth when they keep it closed. Their ears taper into three distinct points. There are very rare alternate colourations, in which the green aspects become blue, and the eyes become amber. Other colourations are probably artificial. Breast size on females is often small - a human B cup at most - with male crotch size being likewise diminished.

Relations
Having a naturally high intelligence, Gardevoirs understand the value of society and preserving nature. As a result, they are friendly with both Humans and Elves, preferring the latter. Likewise, they dislike the mining races of Dwarves and Gnomes for their environmentally destructive methods. However, as a whole they remain friendly where they can.

Alignment
For the most part, Gardevoirs are willing to follow a set of rules. As a result, they are very often lawful and/or good.

Lands
Gardevoirs are, by nature, fond of wide open spaces and organisation. They can often be found in primitive-looking wooden structures gathered on grassy plains, although these structures are surprisingly sound. If given the option, they will live within human abodes, although some do suffer mild discomfort from this.

Religion
Gardevoirs firmly believe in the existence of Arceus, a Lawful Neutral deity. However, they believe that Arceus only watches, and will only intervene in the most dire of situations. For the most part, they act as if they had no deity. A few choose to serve him, and these often take positions such as cleric.

Language
For the most part, Gardevoirs speak in their native language of Ralian (Ral-ee-uhn). However, most of them, especially those who live in urban areas, can also speak Common. Ralian consists of the syllables "Gar", "De" and "Voir" and, similar to the Pikachu's language, is very difficult for non-Gardevoirs to understand. Ralian does not have an alphabet.

Names
Most Gardevoirs often relate to others as simply Gardevoir, although those that are emotionally close can give each other nicknames. If the Gardevoir is urban, it will often adapt a name similar to the names of the race they live with.

Racial Traits
* +2 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom, -2 Strength, -2 Constitution: Gardevoirs are naturally intelligent, although their physical strength is greatly lacking.
* Humanoid
* Medium: No bonuses or penalties from size
* Gardevoir base land speed is 30 feet: This can be increased to 60ft through Telekinesis (explained below)
* Natural Telekinesis(Ps): Gardevoirs have a very high telekinetic capability. They can move up to 150lbs in any direction, at a speed of up to 60ft per turn. This can be used on players, provided the inventory allows it. Consent is not required, but a lack of consent will reduce the speed and weight capacity by half. This movement is not affected by medium; both air and liquid offers travel speeds of 60ft. Telekinesis can also be used as an attack; however, a Wis roll must be passed instead of an accuracy roll; the DC is the target's Touch AC minus the Gardevoir's level (count this as a ranged touch attack). The range is 80ft, and the damage dealt is 1d6. Every two levels, the number of d6 used for damage increases by one, and the weight liftable increases by 5lb. Telekinesis as an attack is not affected by weight. Moving with telekinesis is a move action, attacking a standard action.
* Natural Telepathy(Ps): Gardevoirs may project their thoughts to targets up to 50ft away. They may send thoughts in any language they can speak or read, although the target must be able to speak the language to understand it. They may also attempt to read the surface thoughts; the target must either be willing or fail a Will save (DC 15 + the Gardevoir's level) for the thoughts to be read. This is a standard action.
* Elegant: All Gardevoirs earn a +2 to their Perform skills OR to their Profession skills, at the player's decision. This can not affect both Perform and Profession, and is determined at the character's creation. Perform and Profession become trained if they are selected.
* Black Hole: If a Gardevoir is at least level 20, they can use their telekinetic power to compress a lot of matter into a very small area, causing a gravity well that acts as a black hole. Range is 50ft in any direction. The Gardevoir makes ONE Concentration roll; this roll affects all targets. This attack affects everything within 100ft, including allies, and any creature within range receives 4d20 damage, as well as being moved to where the black hole is (or as near to it as they can). This movement cannot affect Gargantuan creatures or larger, and they receive 4d10 damage. If the rolled Concentration value is less than the target's AC, the target instead receives 4d10 damage. This also destroys any unclaimed items, excluding those in chests. Boss monsters cannot be killed with this attack; if the rolled damage would be enough to kill it, it is instead left with 10+1d4 HP. The walls to the room are destroyed if they are within 100ft. If the Gardevoir is standing between a black hole and an object in range of the Black Hole, the Gardevoir receives 1d10 damage. This ability can only be used once every week. The Black Hole does not affect the casting Gardevoir. Every five levels after level 20, the Gardevoir may add one additional d20 and d10 to account for damage. This attack requires two rounds; one for charging, the other the attack itself. A feat (Improved Black Hole) can negate the turn required for charging.
* Sense Emotions: All Gardevoirs have a +2 bonus to Spot, Search, Sense Motive and Listen checks if the target is alive. Undead creatures do not count as alive for this purpose.
* Automatic Languages: Ralian, Common. Bonus Languages: Any (except for secret languages, such as Druidic)
* Favored Class: Wizard, Sorcerer or any Psion.

Butcher Axes are heavy, awkward, single-bladed axes which are commonly used for cutting through entire sides of meat of large animals, such as elephants, in single strokes. These massive axes are consequentially extremely difficult to wield as actual weapons, but, almost in compensation, they are horribly dangerous weapons when being wielded by someone who can actually swing them on the battlefield.

A character cannot effectively even lift a butcher's axe unless they have the feat Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Butcher Axe) and a Strength score of at least 18.

A character attempting to wield a butcher's axe without having the feat Weapon Focus (Butcher Axe) takes a −4 penalty to any attack roll they make. If a character does in fact have the feat Weapon Focus (Butcher Axe), then this penalty to attack rolls is reduced to −3.

For every 2 points of Strength the wielder of this weapon has beyond 18 decreases this penalty by a further −1, the penalty disappearing completely if the character has a Strength score of 24. This penalty can only be decreased through a higher Strength score if the wielder has the feat Weapon Focus (Butcher Axe).

Introducing Harry Mason
Hello, everyone! Welcome to my user page.

To start off with, I would like to acknowledge my title. Back when I first joined D&D Wiki (Seems forever ago now...), I was a huge fan of Silent Hill, thus the namesake. I was only semi-active back then, and likely only will be now.

Nowadays, I generally prowl through Wikis (Team Fortress 2 and this one in particular), so I felt it only appropriate I slap on my old editing gloves and try to contribute where I can.

Editing Contributions
More than likely, you will never see my hand initially beginning an article. I'm somewhat wary of Wiki formatting, as it's eluded my comprehension for years; This causes me to dedicate my abilities to another medium: Typo spotting.

While I may not seem highly fluent in English, I assure you this is my own nervous nature prohibiting me from being too outgoing. My preference lies in remaining reserved and humble.
Harry Masonhttps://www.dandwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Talk:Arceus_(3.5e_Deity)&diff=499694Talk:Arceus (3.5e Deity)2010-12-30T15:14:26Z
Harry Mason: Editing Note

Corrected the spelling of "received" and removed a redundant "no" in one of the lines. Hoping this doesn't go against your desire of the pages being protected.
Arceus is one of the gods given the title of creator of life. However, he does not seem to be particularly concerned with the wellbeing, as there have been no recorded occasions of his intervention. Indeed, he only presents himself to those who have proven themselves many times in battle and achieved the title of "strongest", although there is supposed to be a method of summoning him with an instrument...

Dogma
Put simply, Arceus values life above all else. Those who also value life shall be in his favour, and creation of new life is not forbidden - in fact, it is sometimes promoted. Resurrections are highly valued, as Arceus does not appreciate death - there's a reason pokémon only "faint".

Clergy and Temples
Arceus very rarely receives temples, as they are seen as a corruption of nature. However, his clergy are often wandering clerics or simply those who believe.
I wanted to drop you a note that your current work on the Ocarina of Time is absolutely outstanding; converting one of the most iconic series items into a workable format tends to be a tiring endeavor and difficult to perfect, but you've aced it. Good work, man. Harry Mason 10:41, 29 December 2010 (MST)
Harry Masonhttps://www.dandwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Blackbark_Wine_(3.5e_Equipment)&diff=499583Blackbark Wine (3.5e Equipment)2010-12-29T01:09:54Z
Harry Mason: Minor Spelling Correction

Blackbark wine: The Elves of Sumtan make this wine, although mostly for export. The properties of this syrupy sweet wine are such as to make it illegal in Sumtanian cites. It is however favored, although often in a clandestine fashion, among the nobles and traders of many other nations.

It costs 35gp for a glass of this beverage or 100gp for a bottle. The bottles the Sumtanian elves use contain just over four glasses of wine and are designed with glass spouters that can reseal the bottle for later use. The wine is a very dark purple and uniquely among all of the wines Sumtan elves make, non-sparkling.

Drinking a glass of the wine forces a male creature to make a DC 18 Fortitude Save against poison or become totally infertile in 20 minutes. The effect lasts 8 weeks. If the subject is relaxed when they drink the wine they can fail automatically. Drinking another glass within 6 weeks causes the drinker to have to make a DC 14 fort save against poison or take 0 primary and 1d4 secondary con damage. It also causes brutal vomiting. Failing the primary save renders the drinker permanently infertile. This can be reversed with a restoration or regeneration spell (and does not prevent the usual effects of the spell taking place).

When using these rules then it is treated as a 55 PR.
An elegant and unusual weapon, the bow-shaped bat'leth deals damage with its cutting edge in the middle and the large piercing spikes. Experienced wielders can use the weapon with much more precision then unskilled ones, but it is a surprisingly easy, if different, weapon to use.

Characters with proficiency in martial weapons can use the bat'leth without the normal -4 to hit but they incur penalties. The critical range becomes 20/x3 and it no longer deals slashing damage. In addition instead of dealing strength-and-a-half they only deal their strength bonus in addition to the weapon damage.

Characters with proficiency in the bat'leth as an exotic weapon can use Weapon Finesse with it. Also they may forgo adding strength-and-a-half and only deal their strength bonus to provide +1 shield bonus for 1 round. The character need not attack that round to get the bonus but it must be declared.

While using Whirlwind Attack with a bat'leth it deals an additional 1d3 slashing damage to all affected creatures.

Time Lord
A Time Lord is technically a race, but this page treats the Time Lord as a class for those adventurous homebrew deviants. The Time Lord has greater strength and stamina than any old human. He can stay without oxygen for a longer period of time, and also has two beating hearts. When he dies, he can regenerate as another incarnation of himself. For the purposes of Dungeons and Dragons, the Time Lord can manifest psionic powers which can manipulate time. His main function, however, is in his skills.

Making a Time Lord
A Time Lord is one of the most difficult things to kill, with his high saving throws and ability to manipulate time. His high saving throws are due to the fact that Time Lords are fit biologically to withstand the ravages of time. His enhanced mental and physical biology allow him to be much more adept at resisting spells and physical effects. His quickened mental capabilities allow him to have heightened reflexes. With these ways of escaping death, the Time Lord then uses his skills and feats to aid the party members either with information or technologically advanced devices. Despite all of these benefits, a Time Lord is horrendously weak in combat. He was not meant to kill; he was meant to keep time stable.

Abilities: The Time Lord's most important ability scores are Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. He needs Intelligence to make the most of his skills, and Wisdom to manifest his powers. Charisma is used for his diplomatic skills or his Leadership ability.

Races: For the purposes of regarding the Time Lord as a race, their only known race is "human."

Alignment: Any Lawful. Time Lords are bound by the strict flow of time. Some things are constant, while some are in flux. The things in flux can affect the flow of time, as they are outside the edge of time. With such strict rules as what they can and cannot affect, the Time Lords can only be lawfully bound to the highest laws of nature.

Starting Gold: Time Lords start with no gold. They have no need for it.

Starting Age: Complex. Time Lords have been known to live for centuries, even millennia.
Class Features
Time Lords have several spells available to them which can be cast spontaneously, and have other unique abilities and devices at their disposal. All of the following are class features of the Time Lord.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Time Lords are proficient with no armor and no weapons.

: A Time Lord’s ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points he has available. His base daily allotment of power points is given on Table: Time Lord. In addition, he receives bonus power points per day if he has a high Wisdom score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). His race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.

: The Time Lord has several psionic powers available to him. The powers listed are varied enough to allow several interpretations of the class's psionic ability to control time. He could harm people or drive them insane by showing them images of their possible futures, manipulate the possibilities of matter, maintain advanced control of his body as a Time Lord race, divine solutions based on seeing the future, or simply manipulate time game-wise. The Time Lord's save DC for resisting his powers is based on Intelligence. However, his bonus power points and the highest level power he can manifest are both based on his Wisdom score. Time Lords choose their powers from the following list:

0—Detect Psionics, Inkling, Know Direction, Trinket, Burst, Catfall, Daze, Distract

1st—Combat Precognition, Destiny Dissonance, Identify, Know Location, Object Reading, Minor Creation, Matter Agitation, Biofeedback, Lesser Body Adjustment, Dissipating Touch, Conceal Thoughts

9th—Metafaculty, Genesis, Dissolution, Affinity Field, True Metabolism, Astral Projection, Probability Travel, Temporal Velocity, Time Regression, Apopsi, Psychic Chirurgery, Timeless Body

To learn or manifest a power, a Time Lord must have an Wisdom score of at least 10 + the power’s level.

(Ex): The Sonic Screwdriver is the Time Lord's universal tool, based on technology from the outer reaches of the universe and the edge of time. For all intents and purposes, it is treated as a Wondrous Psionic Item. As long as he has this tool and is able to point it at the targeted object, the Time Lord can use the Psionic powers Mending, Psionic Lock, Identify, and Knock without using any power points. He must be within 5 feet of the targeted object to use his Screwdriver. The screwdriver can also be used to add a +4 inherent bonus to any Use Psionic Device check.

(Ex): The Time Lord has become awfully charismatic, and has become able to rally his allies to the battle by reassuring them that he has things under control. Making a Diplomacy check, (or a Bluff check if the situation is truly bleak) the Time Lord can give his party members within earshot a bonus to their attack rolls and saves for 5 rounds. The bonus is based on the table below. The Time Lord may use his Leadership ability twice each day.

(Ps): At level 5, the Time Lord can easily "nudge" the flow of time around small pockets of space; particularly around a single subject. Upon a successful melee touch attack as a standard action, the victim makes a Will Save (DC10+ the Time Lord's level). On a successful Will Save, the target is unaffected. On a failed Will Save, however, the Time Lord repeatedly sends the target back in time (almost like a strobe effect), which stalls the target for a few seconds. This pushes the target back in the order of initiative by one. The target cannot exceed one size category larger than the Time Lord.

(Ps): At level 10, the Time Lord improves his control over the time flux. This ability is as Delay, but this pushes the target back in the order of initiative by 1d4+2 places instead of one. The target cannot exceed two size categories larger than the Time Lord.

(Ps): At level 15, the Time Lord further improves his control over the time flux. This ability is as Delay, but this forces the target to lose a turn, instead of simply being pushed back in initiative. Furthermore, the target suffers a -2 penalty on all attacks, skill checks, and saves during the next round the target is active. The target cannot exceed three size categories larger than the Time Lord.

(Ps): At 6th level, the Time Lord has gained an astute wisdom for psychic impressions. By using an item of simple psychic creation, the Time Lord can show any person the identification which they want/need to see. To create the Slightly Psychic Paper, the Time Lord does not require any Item Creation Feat, but he does need at least 2 hours of psychic concentration upon the target piece of paper. Once created, he need merely show it to someone, and they will see either what they need to see or what the Time Lord wants them to see (such as identification or an admission ticket). This provides a +10 bonus to bluff checks when trying to show such identification.

(Su): The Time Lord has seen many things, and comprehends the universe in ways which mortals cannot. At level 3, the Time Lord can add his Wisdom or Intelligence modifier to his AC, whichever is higher. Some Time Lords use their wisdom of the flow of time to help improve their reflexes, while others might use their intelligence (their knowledge of the future) to do so.

: At 1st, 4th, 8th, 13th, and 19th levels, the Time Lord may select any Item Creation feat as a bonus feat, provided that he meets the prerequisites for such feats.

: At 2nd, 7th, 12th, and 17th levels, the Time Lord may select one of the following bonus feats, provided he has met the prerequisites for the chosen feat: Psychoanalyst, Rapid Metabolism, Speed of Thought, Psychic Inquisitor, Psionic Metabolism, or Metacreative.

: The Time Lord can attract a person to come and travel with him in his adventures. The companion is usually someone that is met during the Time Lord's adventures, and acts as a cohort. The effects of the companion's destiny being woven with the Time Lord's, however, grants the companion certain benefits. The companion receives a +2 bonus to Wisdom, a +1 bonus to Intelligence, +1 to all Intelligence-based skill checks, and gains a bonus feat for which the companion meets the requirements every time that he or she would gain an attribute point.
Time Traveler: By level 21, the Time Lord has become so prestigious and renowned that the Time Lords of Gallifrey have granted him a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space). The TARDIS is used for traveling through time and space, and in the case of Dungeons and Dragons, through the planes of existence. The TARDIS, from the inside, is a hemispherical ship about 100 feet in diameter with a cylindrical tube in the middle which is surrounded by a control panel. This, however, is only the Type 40 model. Different designs may exist. The TARDIS comes equipped with a Chameleon Circuit, which gives it the appearance of an object native to the area it appears. The appearance, however, can be controlled manually if the Time Lord so chooses. The TARDIS is also dimensionally transcendental, as the interior is usually larger than the exterior. These traits can be seen in the Doctor's TARDIS, which takes the form of a London police box yet is vastly larger on the inside.

(Ps): The Time Lord gains such an advanced knowledge of the time stream that he can begin to control it at will. At level 25, whether he knows the power or not, the Time Lord may use the power Time Stop a number of times per day equal to half of his level, rounded up. Remember, attacking or using offensive spells during a Time Stop is almost entirely useless.

(Ps): At level 30, The Time Lord has gained the greatest control that he can muster over the fluctuations of time. He can now use the Time Regression spell once per day per caster level. This makes the Time Lord nearly impossible to kill because he is always one step ahead of time itself.

: The epic Time Lord gains a bonus feat (selected from the list of epic Time Lord bonus feats) at levels 22, 24, 26, and 28.
Playing a Time Lord
Religion: Time Lords usually acknowledge the existence of deities in the Dungeons and Dragons setting, because they do exist. However, they typically do not hold any relations to them.

Other Classes: The Time Lord is friendly to almost all life forms, trusting before fighting and always trying to avoid bloodshed. A renegade Time Lord, however, might not be as kind.

Combat: Time Lords sit to the side and try to turn the tides in the party's favor by nonlethal means. They might manifest psychoportation powers to strategically move around their allies, or use their Delay ability to push back an enemy's turn. When outside of combat, the Time Lord typically uses his skills to get the party through tough situations, or else to make unique items that would be useful to the group. Think of the Time Lord as a psionically flavored Bard with advanced lockpicking and crafting skills.

Advancement: Time Lords are extremely powerful helping classes by themselves. They usually do not need to multiclass. However, Time Lords would likely either choose to be more psionically based, helping out in the midst of combat, or else to be more skill-based with Item Creation feats and Craft skills.

A Time Lord may have been dropped off on Earth to prove his worth as a Time Lord, or else sent to fulfill an ultimate destiny in his future. It is really up to the Dungeon Master on how to incorporate such a powerful being into the campaign.

Daily Life: Travel here, travel there, see new things, experience history in the making... the usual things that a master of time and space might do.

Notables: The Doctor, The Master, The Rani, The War Chief, The Monk.

Organizations: Gallifrey is the Time Lords' home planet, and the hub of their civilization. For more information on the planet, Click Here.

NPC Reactions: Most NPCs assume that a Time Lord is a regular human until the Time Lord reveals otherwise, or if the NPC witnesses the Time Lord using his powers or one of his devices. Once the Time Lord's identity is discovered, it is usually with intrigue or else hostility. If the NPC knows about the feats of a Time Lord, he may also be honored to be in his very presence or else horrified for his dear life. NPC reaction depends on their knowledge of the Time Lord and the alignment of the NPC and the Time Lord.

Time Lord Lore
Characters with ranks in Knowledge (The Planes) or Knowledge (History) can research Time Lords to learn more about them. However, the DC is higher than normal because Time Lords are extremely difficult to track through time. When a character makes a skill check, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower DCs.

+ Knowledge
DC || class="left" | Result
15 || class="left" | Time Lords know about supernatural beings and events and tend to be seen around such things.
20 || class="left" | Time Lords have reappeared and disappeared throughout history on every plane, always during grave peril.
25 || class="left" | Time Lords can travel through time and space.
30 || class="left" | Time Lords are powerful beings from a distant planet called Gallifrey.

Time Lords in the Game
Time Lords, as players, tend to look for a leadership role and try to be the brains of the entire party, usually because they are. As NPCs, Time Lords might meet the party when a city or the entire world is in danger. They might temporarily join the party and attempt to lead them through their mission, trying to explain or find out what's going on.

Adaptation: This is merely one alternative to a Time Lord, but there can be several thousand interpretations of it. It's up to the DM to edit this class if he wants a specific kind of Time Lord in his campaign. There is only so much versitility in the selection of powers and moral alignment. One adaptation might be that of a renegade Time Lord, which uses his advanced physical form and psionic powers strictly for combat and evil throughout his journies in time. A good example of this would be the Time Walker class.

Sample Encounter: A metallic grinding sound is heard from directly behind the party. All turn to find a blue box materializing out of thin air. At the top are the words "Police Box," along with a blinking blue light. Before anyone can say a word, the box opens from one side and a man steps out of it. He turns to look at the group and smiles. "Hello, my name is The Doctor."

Harry Masonhttps://www.dandwiki.com/w/index.php?title=Advanced_Prestidigitation_(3.5e_Spell)&diff=495873Advanced Prestidigitation (3.5e Spell)2010-11-28T14:14:29Z
Harry Mason: Grammatical corrections, some rewrites for easier reading

Advanced prestidigitation is a spell which performs slightly stronger tricks than its predecessor, all dependent on the level of the caster. Once cast it allows you to perform magical tricks and effects; the duration of the spell is 1 hour/per caster level (max 20).

Once per round you can use Advanced Prestidigitation to lift 1 pound/per caster level (max 5).

Like its predecessor it can color, clean or soil objects, but at a rate of 1 cubic foot per caster (max 5). You can also heat, cool, or flavor 1 lb. of nonliving material per caster level (max 5). The maximum ranges in temperature are between 100 degrees C or 212 degrees F for heating materials, and 0 degrees C, or 32 degrees F, to chill materials. If used on a living creature, it takes a full round of concentration to bring them to the desired temperature, upon which the affected creature will take 1D4 cold damage or 1d4+1 fire damage. As with the original prestidigitation you may change an object's taste, odor, or flavor, though it still maintains the properties of whatever substance it is. As always, this spell also produces many minor magic tricks, so there are unlimited possibilities to this spells capabilities (Though its effects are always open to the DM's discretion).

A caster using Advanced prestidigitation can replicate objects (1 lb/per caster level ((max 5))), though the items must be inorganic and do not provide sustenance. The items look mundane in quality and last 1hr/per caster level(max 3). You cannot replicate precious metals or minerals. A caster cannot create any material that exceeds 1gp in its cost. Along with creating objects, Advanced prestidigitation can color nonliving objects, adding or changing existing color schemes or creating new schemes, even replicating patterns. The caster can use this to camouflage his body to match a single object (such as a masonry wall), however, it takes a full round action to color oneself (or another), and you must spend a standard action to maintain the color scheme. Doing so, however, provides a bonus on the character's Hide check (1/2 caster level; maximum +5 at 10th) so long as he remains in contact with the object in question and maintains concentration. It takes another full round action to attune your color to another object, which you must be in contact with. A caster may induce 1 color change per 3 caster levels with a full round action (max 5). The area limit of 1 cubic foot per caster level still applies.

Quick reference:

Anti Wiki Criticism
This is the most useful Wiki I have ever found on D&D, (and I've seen a LOT of on-line references). I am currently running an adventure and I keep this site open on my lap-top as I play. It saves me a great deal of time and speeds up play considerably. I almost never even open my Monster Manual anymore.

Kudos to the WebMaster. --Gildavinor 18:13, 25 September 2009 (MDT)
The Tavern
After a huge hiatus I'm finally back to D&D Wiki (and happy to return!) following a long period of being almost broke. I notice that the Tavern, which was gone when I first had to go...still isn't back. That was one of my favorite parts of the Wiki, and I hope I'm just being stupid and missing it somewhere. Is it gone for good? --Harry Mason 07:07, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

:It actually was discontinued. There is no "official" reason as to now however take a look at Discussion:The Tavern: use, expansion, and availability.. The main reason is "...it is quite childish and immature at times and I feel at times it decreases the seriousness of D&D Wiki with childish behavior and immaturity." Green Dragon "Discussion:The Tavern: use, expansion, and availability." 21:02, 20 November 2009 (MST). --Green Dragon 22:07, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

::Ah...oh well. That's a little sad to me, but I can see the reasoning behind it, it -was- rather vulgar at times. Thank you for replying. :) --Harry Mason 01:49, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

:::I'm coming back too and I too liked the tavern... I agree with the reasoning, but I still think we should have an effective way of conversation, since a wiki is not the best tool for talking...
Isn't there something that could be implemented in the place of the tavern (and maybe have some rules as to swearing and misbehaviour, making disrespectful users suspended/banned from using it)?--ElfsMaster 10:49, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

::::But this is a wiki, and by not having the sidetrack of a chat users may tend to rely more on the already established discussion tool. Or they can leave messages on talk pages of other users. It actually encourages the opening of discussions and talks between users on the wiki - which can lead to more wiki additions and improvements, instead of just idle chatter. Hooper talk contribs email 14:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

:::::Appealing to people in real time is more effective than doing so passively, from what I've found. Also, just because serious discussion does not happen constantly doesn't mean it never does. I understand that a decision has been made however, so that's all I'll say on the matter. -- Jota 14:20, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
The search function has been completely nonfunctional for me for a good few days, maybe half a week or more now. Once in a while I'll nail to a T an article's name, and it'll transport me there. Just hitting Search or mistyping anything causes it to utterly fail for me. Is this just a localized problem (which I don't think it is, I've used 3 different computers to try and access it, all were on different networks) or what's going on? --Harry Mason 05:08, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Harry Masonhttps://www.dandwiki.com/w/index.php?title=SRD_Talk:Heavy_Shield&diff=458355SRD Talk:Heavy Shield2010-02-25T04:04:20Z
Harry Mason: Misspelling
