"My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace, when the Avatar kept balance between Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. That all changed when the Fire Nation attacked." ~Katara, the last of the Southern Water Tribe waterbenders

The world of Avatar is a land saturated with the mystical. From when the world began and the Lion Turtles kept order and provided for the earliest inhabitants, to the formation of the Avatar and the bestowing of the bending arts on the people of the world, it is clear that the spiritual and material are closely entwined.

Based on the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra, this campaign setting (created for 5e) is meant to provide the opportunity near and dear to my own heart: become a bender.

For those of you who are new to the world of Avatar or do not know much about it, here is an overview of bending, which is what really makes this setting unique. Hopefully, you will be able to find whatever else you need below!
