Many consider them to be outcasts and freaks, but the people that treat them with respect discover a kind, intelligent, and trustworthy group.

Play a Worgen if you want...

  • To be a wild incarnation of your fellow man.
  • To walk the line between ferocity and sophistication.
  • To be able to dish out damage at a rate greater than any other race.
  • To be a member of a race that favors the Ranger, Rogue, and Fighter classes.

Physical Qualities[edit]

Worgen stand slightly taller than humans and have relatively human body shapes, except that they have lupine manes instead of hair and also lupine faces, claws and feet. Their entire bodies are covered with fur that is usually in a grayscale range but sometimes can be a shade of brown.

Playing a Worgen[edit]

The line between sophistication and feral-hood is a fine line, one which the Worgen race must walk everyday. A Worgen must keep themselves in check if they want to remain a "normal" person. Some Worgens, however, do not want to be "normal" and prefer a life as an outcast and loner.

Worgen Characteristics: Rash, Sophisticated, Emotional Train-Wrecks, Loyal, Big-Hearted, Bold, Fearless, Passionate.

Male Names: Any human male name, many later generation Worgen have names such as Fenrus, Redfang, or Whiteclaw.

Female Names: Any human female name, many later generation Worgen have names such as Moonfur, Whitemane, or Blighttail.

Worgen Adventurers[edit]

Three sample worgen adventurers are described below.

Aros is a Worgen rogue that has recently been transformed into a Worgen and regained his mind, He strives to return to his old life but is cast out by everything he once new. He only seeks to find a place in the world, through any means necessary.

Kiran is a Worgen ranger, a descendant of many Worgen. Never having been human, she is drawn to her more feral side and embraces Druidism. She uses her powers to assume a lupine form with characteristics resembling that of her worgen form, further tying her to her natural roots. While she is peaceful by nature, she enjoys the occasional bar-brawl.

Elros is a Worgen cleric, trying to help the world through healing. Elros was a Worgen since he was an altar boy. Many are surprised by his optimistic look at his life as a Worgen, some casting occasional stares in his direction. He does not mind being a Worgen, as it has given him a chance to pave his own path in his destiny.
