Way of the Thousand Fists[edit]

Monk Subclass

Not all traditions are mutually exclusive from each other, the Way of the Thousand Fists a fantastic representation. They are, in a way, auxiliaries to the normal forces of monks found in a monastery, specially trained to strike down threats within the blink of an eye, as they level more punches than just about any other mortal ever could in seconds. They are first strike defenders, ever vigilant to make sure none of their compatriots come to harm.

While their presence isn’t always appreciated or welcomed, especially by those traditions who are either too paranoid to trust an outsider, or who’s beliefs grant them a form of overconfidence, their practices have proven useful to many a monastery.

Lightning Strikes

At 3rd level, you have dedicated yourself to this incredibly aggressive form of martial art. At the start of your turn, you may decide to attack recklessly. You have advantage on all unarmed attacks you make until the start of your next turn, but attacks against you do too.

Ever Vigilant

Also at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Perception, if you were not already. If you were, you may take proficiency in a different skill.

Rapid Assault

Your senses have been honed to a razor sharp point, your speed and fury with it. Starting at 6th level, when you roll initiative, you can spend any amount of ki points, increasing your initiative roll by 2 per point spent. If you went first after spending ki points in this way, you may make an additional attack, whenever you make the attack action.

Violent Speed

You leap into the fray before anyone knew you weren’t there in the first place. Starting at 11th level, on your first turn after rolling initiative, your unarmored movement doubles, and you cannot be targeted by opportunity attacks.

The Thousand Fist Technique

Starting at 17th level, you can use 2 ki points to use Flurry of Blows, without expending a bonus action.
