Vengeful Soul[edit]

Life is a filthy thing, so I will do those with it the favor of killing them.

When you died, you came to realize the horrors of life. You wish to release those with it from it. It could be that you wish vengeance on a certain individual, as is often the case, or it could be that you honestly think it is the right thing to do. The ramifications don't matter. All that matters is your goal, and not even death can deter you from it.

Prerequisite: Phantom, Ghost Walk Racial power

Vengeful Soul path features[edit]

Fury of the Grave (11th Level): While you are using your Ghost Walk racial power you are no longer weakened. In addition, ghost walk is sustained if you make an attack roll and the result is a natural 15 or higher.
Freed from the Real (11th Level): While you are using your Ghost Walk racial power, you can ignore the Dazed, Stunned, Slowed, and Immobilized effects. In addition, your attacks ignore the Insubstantial quality.
All-Consuming Anger (16th Level): Your attacks deal extra damage equal to 5 + 1/2 your level, and you can use your Ghost Walk power without expending it as an immediate reaction whenever you are hit with an attack, even if you don't meet the requirements. However, all damage dealt to you by anything but your Ghost Walk power's sustain effect is increased by 1/2 your level.

Your anger has power-- power enough to burn.
Encounter Star.gif Psionic, Implement, Fire
Standard Action Ranged 5
Requirement: You must be using your Ghost Walk power.
Target: One creature
Attack: Intelligence or Charisma Vs. Reflex
Hit: 2d8 + Intelligence or Charisma mod fire damage.
Miss: half damage.
Special: This power does not end your Ghost Walk power.



Burning Vengeance Vengeful Soul Utility 12
All must die, so you help them out with it.
Daily, Stance
Minor Action Personal
Effect: You enter the stance of Burning Vengeance. While in this stance, each creature that you move next to or that starts or ends its turn adjacent to you while you are using your Ghost Walk power takes 10 fire damage. This damage ignores resistances.



Past In Flames Vengeful Soul Attack 20
Your fury becomes an inferno, consuming everything.
Daily Star.gif Psionic, Fire, Implement, Reliable
Standard Action Close Burst 10
Requirement: You must be using your Ghost Walk power.
Target: Each creature in burst.
Attack: Intelligence or Charisma Vs. Reflex and Will
Hit: Reflex: 4d8 + Intelligence or Charisma modifier fire damage and ongoing 15 fire damage, ignoring resistances (save ends). Will: 1d10 + Intelligence or Charisma fire damage, and the target can't save against ongoing damage (save ends).
Special: This attack doesn't end your Ghost Walk power. Additionally, all damage caused by it ignores resistances.
