Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello Lenteshi and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon (talk) 04:23, 8 November 2013 (MST)

Edits[edit]

Hi Lenteshi. You say you have the rulesbooks being sent to you, so please can you wait until you have received them, read them and played the game a few times before adding more content. Things like "Pain Nummer" do not make sense (D&D already has "Damage Resistance") and now you don't seem to know if you are designing for 3.5e or 4e.

I look forward to seeing your contributions once you know what you are doing and I'll be happy to assist. Marasmusine (talk) 00:44, 15 October 2013 (MDT)

Hi Lenteshi, have you received your rulebooks yet? It will be easier for me to help you fix your pages if I can refer you to them (and it would be easier for you to make pages if you, well, know what you're doing). Marasmusine (talk) 01:54, 27 October 2013 (MDT)
  • No i have not. Im guessing it was sent, Els where. If you have a site where i can learn that would be wonderful. I am having fun though posting and messing around with the admins. Though i have been playing DnD with 2 of my friends. I believe are DM dose know the base rules of it. I do have to admit it is wonderful seeing admins online. I mean, Most games i play, Website i visit, There never any admins online. Wow imagine all the stuff i would be making incorrectly if there was no admin, Hah! This is truly funny. Kinda embarrassing as well. I'm guessing you can delete [1] Haha, Sorry if im being a burden, If you can give me some tips on what to do ..Err how to make one successfully (Following DnD Rules. Probably a place to learn base rules as well.)That would be wonderful.
The best place to learn the rules would be from the rulesbooks. There is also SRD:System Reference Document which contains most of the rules (but not enough to play the game with). Marasmusine (talk) 01:24, 28 October 2013 (MDT)
  • Thanks! I guess ill stop spamming stuff into the wiki and learn, Thanks Marasmusine. If i have a question about something in the wiki may i ask you? If it not much of a hassle?
Yep! Marasmusine (talk) 17:01, 28 October 2013 (MDT)

  • Can you link me to the basic rules of DnD, I think making weapons/armor is the most basic thing I can practice. If you can that would be wonderful. Im trying to study multiple things, Lol makes my head wee bit woozy. Wait scratch that, Lol. Err, When i finish my first weapon can you tell me if i'm on track. [2] (Try'd making a Magic weapon.)If im way offtrack, Feel free to just delete it, No point in having something that makes no scene. XD Also can i request why the server went down. I'm just kinda wondering.
I really mean not to overwhelm you with letters and word. I am very sorry, Can i make a last request and ill leave you alone for a good while. Lol you probably have lots of work to do. May you lock my races, I think some one put "Please Delete." on my race and i put a lot of effort on it. If there a way you can remove that and lock it, I would be grateful. Again sorry for the spam of words.
I linked to the SRD:System Reference Document already, here it is again. If you want to make magic weapons, you need to be familiar with SRD:Weapons, everything in SRD:Combat, SRD:Magic Item Basics, SRD:Creating Magic Items and SRD:Magic Weapons.
The pages you made do need to be deleted, since they do not use the D&D rules, so are unusable. The best I can offer is move them to your "user space". Marasmusine (talk) 01:46, 3 November 2013 (MDT)
Never saw that there was a SRD:Magic Item Basics or other one. I guess people find new things every day. Also you can just delete the stuff I make mara, I mean like if i'm way off course on makeing a item or thing. Just delete it, Makes sence. I wont get mad or bitch about it, Lol. Sooner or later ill learn how to make stuff in the basics of DnD Guidelines.

Sorry for the delay regarding Gra'o. I have responded on the talk page. Marasmusine (talk) 09:51, 19 November 2013 (MST)
