Hello There![edit]

I hope I'm not absolutely slaughtered for doing this, but seeing as no administrator has decided to yet, I may as well welcome you to D&D wiki, and give you a brief little paraphrased version of Green Dragon's welcome speech (cripes I almost feel important!)

Hopefully you've been enjoying this site so far and the vast amount of content that it offers, as well as liking the support of our administrators. Everything relating to them can be found here. Questions relating to D&D Wiki, D&D, formatting, or any random crap really (we tend to go overboard with some content, presumably that applies to our personalities as well), an admin will, many times, give a good answer. Administrators in their typical greeting usually refer to their "ask a question" page at this point, therefore I will as well..(ask Green Dragon a question!).

As per any wiki formatting can be a pain in the arse, so if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia itself (or even their Introduction page). That'll explain the basics and go through a fun little tips and tricks. Most people will be willing to help you out with their knowledge on here if you need it, too.

Moving onto discussions: Talk pages tend to be preserved, not deleted, so try to be nice. A good guide for this can be found under Civility and Etiquette in regards to just about anything. To give us a hand, after you say anything on a talk page, it'd be cool if you could go up to the bar (upper left above the enter text box) and click on the signature icon Signature icon.png or type in the following: (~~~~) That churns out your name and the date/time you typed anything up, so we don't have to go digging in the History for it.

Hopefully you'll come to adore this place as the rest of us do.

Now I'm off before an admin beats me over the head with a rusty pipe for stealing their thunder. Laters. --Harry Mason 13:46, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
