Hello Dread Reaper and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon (talk) 09:54, 3 February 2015 (MST)

Mageblade[edit]

Hi Dread Reaper, your class is at Mageblade, Variant (3.5e Class). Marasmusine (talk) 01:34, 20 February 2015 (MST)

Marasmusine (talk The MageBlade is NOT a variant class nor is it a prestige class, you have moved it to both & I have attempted to correct this each time. I have correctly labeled the MageBlade as a regular class. This is not based on any other class & is intended to be a unique class, which it is. So if we can please stop moving it around because this is becoming an extensive headache when I have correctly labeled the class from the beginning. No longer moving the class around & returning it to it's correct status of a regular class would be much appreciated.

You misunderstand. We already have a homebrew class called Mageblade. When we have multiple homebrew classes with the same name, we subsequently label them as "variant" to avoid confusion.
Also, please don't upload images that are under copyright, we do not have a fair use rationale for these. You can use a creative commons or public domain image, or you can link externally to the source if you can find one of the right size. In any event, it's courtesy to credit the artist. Marasmusine (talk) 09:18, 22 February 2015 (MST)

Actually, you didn't. I reuploaded my MageBlade class because you moved it & afterwards had discovered that it was merely moved & not deleted. Both copies were the exact same. Currently you have one uploaded as a variant & one as a regular class. You can feel free to delete the variant class version, it is the exact same as the base class version, but every link I use goes to the class version & not the variant class. As far as linking to an image instead of uploading, I have tried that & the coding system here is confusing enough & I haven't found anywhere on the site to explain it. I haven't used a copyrighted image since the first image I uploaded for this months ago.

No, it's the second class on the wiki with that name. Mageblade (3.5e Class) has been here since 2009.
I'm not sure what you mean by "I haven't used a copyrighted image since the first image I uploaded for this months ago." The image is under copyright (unless you're the original artist.. are you?), so we can't just upload it.
You can link to an image with its URL:

Blade_Wizard_by_Markvs.jpg

...although this doesn't work with the infobox (to be honest I think we should dispense with those)
It's courtesy to credit the artist, the best way to do this is to frame the image like this:
Blade_Wizard_by_Markvs.jpg

Since you haven't replied, I'm making the necessary changes. Marasmusine (talk) 02:07, 1 March 2015 (MST)

You say there are multiple, yet when I go to http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/3.5e_Base_Classes & look there is only mine that you keep moving. This is getting annoying. It is not a variant, there are no others. Apparently you don't want anyone uploading anything here because you run this place however you see fit & intentionally go out of your way to aggravate everyone. There's numerous complaints about YOU randomly deleting peoples uploads. I have uploaded a Prestige Class & a Base Class. YOU have WRONGLY moved both. I labeled my Prestige Class AS a Prestige Class & you changed it to a Base Class, WHICH IT WASN'T. There are NO 10 level base classes, would have helped if you would have just looked at the table instead of randomly moving things. I uploaded this class, you've moved it multiple times WRONGLY. Check that link, it is supposed to be a complete list of all the homebrew classes uploaded to Wiki. Tell me how there's another version of mine, WHEN THERE IS ONLY MINE! Yes I'm aggravated, YES I'm pissed off with YOU Marasmusine I'm sick & tired of repeatedly correcting YOUR mistakes. You SAY there's another, yet the SITE SHOWS there is only mine. The SITE says YOU are wrong.
