Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello Danzig Nyttafjell and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. I am an admin (and, actually, the owner as well). Everything relating to admins can be found here.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that pages talk page. All other questions should be asked to another; user, admin, or me, the owner (ask me a question).

Formatting

Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to ask specific D&D-related questions on DnD Discussions. Anyway, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to love D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 05:23, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Hey There![edit]

Hey, I just noticed you were the only other member in the Category:Canada section on this site, and I wanted to stop by and say hi, and wonder if you were still active. :)--Vrail 01:22, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Battlemage Spell List[edit]

Ok, I didn't know exactly what you wanted with the spell list thing, but if you want to post its own page because of space or formatting issues with the normal, would something like this work as a template?--Vrail 02:50, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Bingo. That's exactly the sort of list I was looking for, so that it would show up in a search with the other classes' spell lists... I'll see what I can cook up with that coding. Thanks a million, Vrail. -- Danzig 05:43, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
Np, if you need help with the breadcrumbs I might be able to get that for you too. :)--Vrail 05:47, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
You might as well just move that page to the name you want to use. It'll save you a little work. JazzMan 06:06, 15 May 2010 (UTC)
There. It's coded. Now to post the rest of the battlemage-exclusive/homebrew list I have here. -- Danzig 06:12, 15 May 2010 (UTC)

Battlemage Picture[edit]

I found a couple of pictures that I think might go well with the battle mage, they are File:Battlemage01.jpg and File:Battlemage.jpg. Have a look and see if you like them. If not I could probably find something else. Oh, and I just wanted to say, I did not make these pictures, however I got them with permition. I'm a terrible artist myself. :)--Vrail 18:07, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Spellcasting Classes[edit]

I was just wondering why you said in the page 'Assassin, Tome'talk page:

"I never understood why assassins, rangers, and paladins should get spells."

I think that Assassins(PrC) is ment to be used for a Assassin Cult, in which the spell's are gifts from begin part of the oranisation (like a guild benefit).

Rangers get thier spells because they have slight ties with the natural world. This manifests as a few spells and an animal companion. (You might say that the animal companion is just a trained animal. But any animal can be a trained animal with the 'Handle animal' skill)

Paladins gain thiers from the fact they are warriors of thier god(s). As they have a few divine powers would it not make scence to give them slightly more to make it balanced. --Milo High-Hill 01:48, 12 October 2010 (MDT)

Using a Class for a Campaign Setting[edit]

I would like to use the class Battlemage for my campaign setting, Helios.--Cool Dude 123 18:04, 14 December 2011 (MST)

I forgot to mention that I will create a new page so that I may alter the flavor for the campaign setting.--Cool Dude 123 18:07, 14 December 2011 (MST)

Classifieds[edit]

Canadian provinces have now been added to the classifieds categories. --Kydo (talk) 05:46, 20 September 2016 (MDT)
