Ultimate Mender

Prerequisites: The ability to cast the mending cantrip
You have used the mending spell many times, and have learned the ins and outs of casting it. You know so much about the spell that you have figured out how to cast it on anything, including living creatures. You gain the following benefits:

  • You can cast the mending cantrip on a creature to restore its hit points. The creature regains a number of hit points equal to 1d8 plus your spellcasting modifier. The creature cannot regain hit points from your mending cantrip again until it finishes a short or long rest.
  • When you cast the mending cantrip on a creature, any wounds no larger than 1 inch is rapidly restored, leaving no former injury or damage. If a body part that is no larger than 1 inch in diameter is severed or destroyed, you can restore it when you cast mending.
  • You can cast mending once as an action, instead of using the normal casting time for the spell. Once you cast mending in this way, you must finish a short rest before you can do so again.
