[edit] The Moon

The Moon is a natural moon that is in a plane near the world. THe Moon is surrounded by a veil that is near the world's veil. Normally, The Moon can be only be get to by a portal, since there is a vaccum surrounding The Moon. Regularly, The Moon cannot be visited by normal means, due to cold temperture and no air, but using the right magic The Moon can be inhabited.

[edit] Plane Links

As above mentioned, The Moon can be acessed by a portal or a veil. The veil is light grey and desposts anything that goes through it onto the ground. Also going above a certain height above the world can send adventurers right to the Moon (or even the Sun).

[edit] Plane Inhabitants

Certain creatures that need no air can live normally on The Moon, but some planar colonists can live on The Moon for long periods of time with the right magic. Rumors say that there is a race of humans that live without air...A noteworthy creatire is a gray claylike Earth elemental. They are passive until attacked.

[edit] Movement and Combat

Due to The Moon's lack of gravity, standing on the ground is much harder. Movement is reduced by 20 feet around, to a minimum of 10 feet. You can jump higher on the Moon the on earth or worlds/planes with 1G (Earth norm) of gravity. You can make a vertical/high jump as if you were two size category larger, to a maxing of 128 feet. Non-flying creatures can fly up to their speed, but are clumsy. Clumsy flyers gain hover. The Moon is a good place for multi-dimensional encounters.

[edit] Features of the Plane

  • Craters: There are various craters on The Moon. These can by from 10 feet wide to town sized.

[edit] Colonies

The Colonies of the moon are most likely underground; some may be similar to tent cities on the surface. The colonies must have a way to make earth norm gravity if they want to stay healthy and a way to protect yourself from solar radiation.
