[edit] The Hatter
The hatter is a great character to throw into an otherwise mundane, combat focus heavy party. They are an insidious marriage of insanity and mastery of all things Antilogic. While the extent of the Antilogic Realms power is unknown, a lack of motivation curses this class, thus even the most skilled Hatter can only scrape the surface of there power.
[edit] Making a Hatter
There primary function is that of support and unpredictability. They can be effective if also trained as a rouge, support or arcane class. .
Abilities: (Like I stated before, this is m first character build, so im not sure how to make abilities, anyone who wants to help i would be grateful)The best weapon up the hatters sleeve(or under his hat) all focus on making up for dismal stats with your strongest stat, Charisma. (I havnt learned about spells and abilities and whatnot yet, so I will just post my ideas and if anybody wants to help me make some actual spells/abilities/ect. from them i would be grateful) >Hatters receive a large boost to charisma and a minor boost to dexterity in return for taking penalties to Intelligence and wisdom.. Incompetent Intentions
Hatters are unaffected by attempts to change there mind or motives. weather this is due to stupidity or unwavering conviction is unknown. The negative to this is that communicating an enemies weak point, or other information to a hatter is useless. They are unaffected by stat changing effects related to the mind.
Bombastic Reality
To make up for there dismal stats, Hatters can roll to replace a stat with there charisma stat during a stat check. the odds of successfully rolling increases with level. Similarly, they can chose to substitute a skill check with a Knowledge check. There Knowledge skill is modified by there charisma, as they do not learn facts, they make them up.
Top-Storage
The hat isn't only for show; with each level of this class, one more storage space is unlocked inside of the top hat. items stored in the hat do not weigh anything, as they are transported to the Antilogic Realm temporarily.
Indiminishable Din(i know indiminishable isn't a word)
Hatters are unaffected by silence effects. their voice cannot be stopped once they begin to speak, and there voice always reaches its intended target, regardless of weather they would normally be able to hear it or not. Even death or unconsciousness does not stop a hatter from talking.
Daft Rebuttal
When targeted with a projectile or melee attack, the hatter can roll to send the attacker flying backwards. The success rate is dependent on the Dexterity of the Hatter, and the distance knocked back is dependent on the Attack power of the Attacker.
Hat Trick
A special attack using the top hat to knock the target away from the user. I visualize it as a boxing glove on a spring shooting out of the hat and bopping the opponent on the head. depends on Charisma.
Irrational Inquisition
The target is banished to the Antilogic Realm for two turns.(they return in the same condition they left in) The target can be yourself, an ally, or an item as well. you can only cast this twice per day, and you must have an open storage slot in your top hat (See Top-Storage skill).
True Divine ones, answer my inquiry!
This skill can be used once per day. once it is used the DM informs the hatter of something relating to the parties current predicament.
Races: Any race will do, depending on how you specialize your Hatter.
Alignment:Any.
Starting Gold: Hatters start with 1 gold.
Starting Age: <-Select "Simple" or "As rogue", "Moderate" or "As fighter", or "Complex" or "As wizard", to let players know which starting age category to use for 1st-level characters->.

[edit] Class Features
<-fluff about class features->. All of the following are class features of the Hatter.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: As the name suggests, the staple of this class is the top hat. A hatter without his hat is like a warrior without a sword. Light armor is also recommended.

Power Points/Day: A <-class name->’s ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points he has available. His base daily allotment of power points is given on Table: <-class name->. In addition, he receives bonus power points per day if he has a high <-relevant ability-> score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). His race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.
