The Great Crabbo is the patron god of the crab people.

Goals

The Great Crabbo is the patron god of the crab people and their main goal is to protect and guide them. They believe in the sanctity of all life and try to live in harmony with nature. They are also motivated by a desire to keep the balance of the world and to help others achieve their potential.

Followers

The crab people are a race of intelligent, humanoid crabs who worship the Great Crabbo. They are often found in sewers or caverns, away from the eyes of man and other civilized races. The crab people are known for their chanting. Followers of The Great Crabbo can be easily identified by the red bandages covering one hand (or claw) and their penchance to spend long periods of time in or by salt water.

The crab people are a simple people and they worship The Great Crabbo in a simple way. They offer him sacrifices of live crabs which they catch in the wild. They also offer him the occasional human sacrifice, although this is rare. They believe that The Great Crabbo gives them strength and power in battle and they will do anything to please him.

Temples

Their places of worship are many since they consider large bodies of salt water to be holy sites. A typical temple of the Great Crabbo is a hidden temple located in the sewers or caverns away from the eyes of man and other civilized races. The temple is full of crab people who are constantly worshiping their god, chanting "Crab People, Crab people, look crab, kill like people!" It is a dark and dank place, with water dripping from the ceiling and walls. The floors are covered in algae and the air smells of salt and seaweed. There are no windows, and the only light comes from torches that flicker in the breeze. The temple is full of statues and idols of the great crabbo, as well as of other Crab people.

Iconography

The iconography of The Great Crabbo typically features a large crab with multiple smaller crabs crawling on it. The great crabbo is also sometimes depicted with a large shell in the background.

Avatar

The great crabbo's avatar is a massive crab the size of a mountain. It is said that its claws can rend the very fabric of reality and its carapace is impenetrable. It is a fearsome sight to behold and its followers believe that it is the embodiment of their god.

Story Hooks
  1. The Crab People have been acting strange lately, and the adventurers are hired to investigate. They soon discover that the Crab People have been sacrificing humans to their god, The Great Crabbo.
  2. The adventurers find a statue of The Great Crabbo in the middle of a strange, dark forest. They have no idea how it got there or what it means, but they feel a strange compulsion to take it with them.
  3. The crab people are being hunted by a group of humans who want to use their shells for armor. The adventurers agree to help protect the crab people in exchange for their assistance in battle.
  4. The adventurers are hired to protect a group of diplomats who are travelling to a Crab People village to negotiate a peace treaty. However, when they arrive, they find that the Crab People are preparing for war.
  5. The adventurers discover a hidden temple of The Great Crabbo deep in the sewers beneath the city. The crab people who worship there are strange and mysterious, and the adventurers may not be welcome.
  6. The crab people have been captured by a group of slavers and the adventurers agree to help free them. In exchange, the crab people agree to help the adventurers in their quest.
  7. The crab people are being threatened by a group of monsters who want to eat them. The adventurers agree to help the crab people in exchange for their help in finding a new home.
  8. While exploring a remote island, the adventurers come across a strange shrine to The Great Crabbo. They soon realize that the island is full of crab people, and they are not sure what to expect.

  1. The Shell of the Great Crabbo: This massive shell is said to have been worn by the Great Crabbo itself. It is impenetrable and provides excellent protection to whoever wears it.
  2. The Claw of the Great Crabbo: This massive claw is said to have been ripped from the Great Crabbo's avatar. It is incredibly sharp and can cut through anything.
  3. The Blood of the Great Crabbo: This viscous red liquid is said to be the blood of the Great Crabbo. It is said to have magical properties and can be used to heal the sick and wounded.
